Summary

When their supposedly secure off-net research facility is hacked, Micronics Corporation hires Securi-Tech law enforcement officers (LEOs) Amber Payne and Richard Kayani to find those responsible.

The case quickly leads them down a rabbit hole of twists and turns they could never have anticipated. With the body count rising quickly, the only link seems to be a mysterious thunderbird tattoo.

Welcome back to the world of Amber Payne, where cybernetic implants are a coveted advantage for criminals and an absolute necessity for the LEOs who take them on.

Payne Before the Storm is book two of the Amber Payne series.

I've read all three books and no disappointments!

I follow sub the genre of science fiction cop/detective books, wherever I can find it. This is an outstanding series of books. Extremely well read and only a few literacy gaffes! You can't describe an audiobook as a page turner, but this series has had me going to sleep later than I'd planned, for a few nights. if you've been following the Opus X series, then you'll love this!
