what a relief!
I was originally quite concerned at the prospect of a different author taking part in the G&F story. William King has set the tone and a very high bar. as it turns out, this new author to the Saga has done an incredible job and dare I say it, I enjoyed this title more so then I did the last few titles by William King.

Another tale of the unlikely duo.
Great story and the change of authors doesn’t take anything away from the writing.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the overall villain as so far it’s all been known “evil” factions of Warhammer lore. However it was still a good listen.

Reminded me of the hobbit

What a lovely jaunt!
Amazing to think that this great series was nearly destroyed with the exchange of authors but my lord how luck are we to have Nathan long to take the reins! Get listen to it love it!

possibly my favourite Slayer novel
the story is quite different to the usual Slayer novel , with very different enemies. really filled out a lot of back story , really well done 👍
