Summary

Do you ever wonder how your old classmates remember you? Especially those who weren't in your circle.

Susan Quinn, a teacher at St Wilfred's All-Girls School, and Jenna James, a ski instructor in the French Alps, are about to find out. As an invisible bond draws the two women closer, will they appreciate each other for who they are now, not who they once were?

One Foot onto the Ice, is a fast-paced romance set in the sunny ski resort of Morzine, where the young cast of students and teachers search for excitement on the slopes, with some finding it a lot more easily than others.

Brilliant

i loved this story so damn much. The narration is simply perfect. Claire Storey puts life into the wonderful quirky characters from the adorable hapless Daisy to the exceptionally creepy male teacher who probably shouldnt be allowed anywhere near girls or women for that matter. I loved the romance too, brilliantly written. But i will never be able to unsee the epilator scene from my minds eye, so thanks for that. Hilarious. I have to listen to the next one immediately!

Good listen

I was really looking forward to listening to this book and to be honest I was slightly disappointed. I felt it was let down by a couple of the characters e.g. Marcus and that he was still working at the all girls school at the end of the book, as he was being inappropriate to under aged girls in his care.

I felt that the ending was rushed and could have done with it being longer but I have found out that there is a book 2, so that’s probably why the ending was left like it was.

There were a couple of funny moments, but there was 1 that was hilarious and I started laughing so hard that it made me cry, but you will have to listen to find out.

The narration was great; she did a good job with the characters.
