The most captivating woman in the city has walked into my office. Hair as red as carnal passion, and a body I can’t stop fantasizing about. She doesn’t know it yet, but I’m about to ask her out. And she will say yes, because she won’t have a reason to say no. When my conquest is complete, I intend to forget all about her. She is, after all, the reason for my pain. She is the source of my breakup, and the woman my good-for-nothing ex seduced. I will not fall for her, no matter how tempting she is. It’s not becoming to be The Other Woman, after all.

Summary
Brooke Chambers is forced to leave the army and the job that she loves. Moving back into civilian life, she never imagined it would mean looking after her teenage sister and searching for a new career. But, with the sudden loss of their dad, Brooke finds herself stepping up, and in the process, looking for a new job - any job. Getting the chance to let off some steam, she heads to Art, a lesbian bar, and meets Catherine. It’s lust at first sight as both women feel that instant connection, despite the obvious age gap. With Brooke’s new job being the same place where Catherine works, she assumes it was meant to be. Catherine, however, has other ideas and puts a halt to any prospective love affair, much to Brooke’s confusion and heartbreak. When she tells Brooke to forget it, she didn’t quite mean it so literally and wishes she hadn’t said it, but Brooke is injured on the job and loses her memory...and forgets Catherine.... Will they get a second chance to work things out?

Found this pure indulgence
Everytime you listen to one of this author's books you think "wow!" and dont think it can get any better. then along came "forget it" The only disappointment is when the book came to an end. The narrator has to be one of my favourites. She brought the characters to life and had me envisage what each character looked like. Fantastic book, brilliantly written and had me egging on brooke, wanting her to win the prize. Must read

Forget it
This is a new to me author and narrator and I enjoyed the introduction to both. The only thing that stopped me from loving this book is how long the misunderstanding dragged on. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable book with easy to like characters. The narrator did a good job of bringing the book and characters to life.

Good story
I liked the book ok, but I didn't think the two main characters got to know each other well enough to be heart broken before the head injury. Catherine wasn't as much an ice queen, as she was just rude. Cold and aloof would have been better. I can definitely relate to Catherine. I understand the fears and insecurities of being in love with a younger woman. I like how the story played out, especially Brooke's relationship wit her sister. I really loved how forgiving Brooke was as well.

Loved it!
“Forget it” is a upbeat story with plenty of ups and downs. Catherine & Brooke have an instant attraction which brings them together in a hot and fiery beginning to only end up being squashed as soon as Cathrine sees that Brooke will be working for her. This book has plenty of angst, confusion and of course do to an on the job incident a bit of Memory loss. This story was well written and you find you can’t help but cheer for these two MC’s. 5 star ⭐️

Another great book by the author. I really enjoyed how this book played out. Sometimes we make decisions without thinking about them first. Sometimes you know the moment you make it... it might be the wrong one. Catherine gets lucky and gets a second chance. And throw in an age gap as well... you get an amazing book by an amazing author.
