Summary
Wall Street Journal best-selling author Nicole Snow returns with a hilarious office romance where two archenemies who drive each other crazy pretend they're madly in love.
Strange men do funny things when you score the last cinnamon roll. Sometimes he rages about the high crime of jacking his precious pastry. Sometimes he offers you ludicrous bribes to buy it back. And sometimes—after shattering your faith in humanity—you find out he's your new boss.
I'm not laughing.
My sweet tooth betrayed me, and Lincoln Burns is one bad sugar rush. A coldhearted grump. A mile-wide ego. An eligible bachelor who doesn't “do” dating. Did I mention Mr. Congeniality runs a fashion empire with weddings in its sights? Of course he does. And, of course, weddings make me gag after my ex made my heart roadkill.
Every instinct I have screams run. But money talks, and Lincoln's deep pockets roar. One big fat bonus proposal lures me into his world.
Somehow, our vicious fights become vivid flirting. His secrets thrill me in the worst ways.
Then he makes a second proposal. Pretend we're engaged. Smile for pretty photos like we're soul mates. Dress up like we're actually getting married.
Oh, how I wish cinnamon rolls came with warnings.
It's all sticky sweet heaven until you catch feelings for the boss man from hell....
Full-length enemies-to-lovers romance loaded with uh-ohs. Office banter, pastry mischief, slow-burn spice, plus one bossy suit who might stop stomping around long enough to realize he's falling hopelessly in love.

Very good performance but too many steamy scenes
This book has main characters with some depth and baggage. There are lots of emotional scenes, a rough road, but finally a happy ending. This isn't one of my favorites, but a 4 star book. I did get very tired of all the steamy scenes. The performance is very good.

Meh. Mediocre.
The description of the story sounded like a good book to read. it was very misleading and a big let down.
I did not find it funny, the story did not flow well. it was actually pretty petty story. neither character could get out of their own way.
for me, it was a complete waste of a credit.
do not recommend it.

Not very good.
I'm currently struggling to finish this book - even slightly sped up. The writing is not great. The story is drawn out and slow; the dialogue is stilted and awkward; the characters are boring; the love scenes are so hokey that it'd be better without them. Beyond boring, Burns is honestly not even that likable when he rants and calls women b*****s and w****s. I bought this (albeit on sale), so I feel compelled to reach the end. I'd say that I'd avoid this author in the future, except that I see another one in my library already - haha. :-/ So I guess take all of this with a grain of salt.
Oh, and the narrators used two completely different accents for the character of Anna Patel, which was distracting. Seems like they could have coordinated that better?

ONE SEXY VOICE
This is the first book I’ve heard by this author. Thoroughly enjoyed the storyline and will read or listen to another story by this author. Romance does have a happy ending in some stories books.

Less can be more
I had to skip through the first chapter. It dragged on way to long. Wasted credit…. Less is more I hated the dragging on of it. I hope it was not supposed to be funny -because it wasn’t. I don’t think I have hated a book so much.

Enjoyed this read. Love all of Nicole Snow books. Can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series. The only thing missing was Wyatt’s end.

Way too long
This book was way too long and dragged! I almost gave up a few times but since you can no longer return books, I didn’t want to waste my money. And the drama over the stupid cinnamon roll went on way too long.

Good read 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I enjoyed the grumpy character in this book. Aiden Snow has a very sexy voice. The narrators make the audiobooks because they tell the story. Great job Aubrey Vincent as well. This book showed kindness of people as well. Love it Nicole Snow♥️
