Summary
To save the Goblin King, she must risk her life on a journey to the ends of the faerie realm.
Freya couldn't have known she would destroy the entire faerie court by beating the Goblin King. All she wanted was her sister back, not to imprison the king. But with her sister refusing to return home, Freya is left trapped in her own mess. She has to fix what she broke or the faerie realm will get infinitely more dangerous.
Bring the Goblin King back. Save the people she harmed. And do her best to avoid the temptation of falling into the Goblin King's arms. Considering the Goblin King is locked away in a magical prison, at least one of her goals may be impossible to achieve...unless she's willing to go through hardships unnumbered.

Absolutely hooked
I love this series. Well read. Well worded. The character's are interesting and different. Brilliant adventure, drama and romance ratio. Can't wait to listen to the third book.

Wonderful world-building and characters
I normally skip over where they're describing the World building and the room and decor no, but I think this author handled it wonderfully I would love the rest of the books to be on Audible as well

The main male character’s voice is a serious struggle
I really like the story but goodness the narrator made the main male character sound so awful it steals any enjoyment. It’s nearly impossible to finish it.

Ms. Hamm's descriptions of the fairy realms really bring it to life in your mind. I can't get enough!

Good Time
Up front: not as good as the first book, but still a great time!
Billie Fulford-Brown is a beast at narration and I wouldn't have my Goblin King any other way.
I'm certainly excited to listen to the next installment of the series.

awesome story but narrator needs Improvement
the story was great. Got me hooked. However, the narrator could have done a much better job of the Goblin King voice. he sounds like an old weak decrepit man. not sure why she did that. he should sounds handsome, powerful and strong.

Slow
unlike the 1st book, which had multiple tasks, this book is all about a single task, and I found myself wishing to just get on with it. I wanted to skip to the end, it moved so slowly.
The protagonist spent WAY too much time in denial. I finished it, but won't be moving on to the 3rd book, which again, as a single task, I can only imagine will be just as slow.

Exciting Adventure
I loved this story! I loved going on this journey with Freya! The descriptions of each of the courts allowed me to clearly envision them. My only issue was the voice Billie Fulford-Brown used for the goblin king. Her performance was good throughout but the voice did not match the sensual, attractive role of the Goblin King. Overall it was a delightful, fun adventure!
