About this listen
Quinn
I thought pulling my pack away from Winsford would save us. I never realized how wrong I could be.
After Rowan and I escape Mercer’s hold, we have to get the pack somewhere safe, but my only option is a pride run by a controlling alpha. With everyone safely inside the walls of Winterhaven, Rowan and I attempt to search for the truth, but we’re being hunted and driven further from the answers we need. I want to do everything to protect my mate, but as I learn more about his past, I realize that I might need to protect him from more than just Mercer.
Rowan
I never thought I could embrace this other side of me, especially when I’ve always been taught to hate it.
But Quinn makes me feel alive and happier than I ever thought I’d be after shutting away a part of myself for years. When he’s with me, I feel like we can accomplish anything, and figuring out why Mercer is targeting us is only the first step. However, we could lose everything if we make a single mistake. One thing I know about my mate, though, is that he’s the most determined man I’ve ever met. And I’ll be right by his side as we bring Mercer crashing to the ground.
Of Betrayal and Monsters is an action-filled romance with a dash of comedy. It’s the second book in a series with a continuing storyline and an HFN.

Fantastic narration
I think I will always hear Ari's voice the way the narrator does it. Absolutely nailed the sassy way he behaves

Surprising!!!
The plot was so intriguing and surprising, I was so pleased in how I was led through the story! It was a delight to read (and listen) this book!
Another spectacular performance from Greg Boudreaux, definitely one of my favourite narrators, on point with the intentions of the sentences and the way that he make so different voices for the characters, I was very impressed, the acting was superb! Praises to a perfect performance!

Catnip, fluff Daddy!
Expanding on the first book, Alice continues the story of Quinn and his pack and his growing concern for their struggles.
This makes for careful reading or, in my case listening.
It still has lots of sass and laughs that I love, but I felt frustrated with what was happening. This is NOT a criticism of the writer, I feel exactly as I should be engrossed in such a story. Greg Boudreau makes this emotion perfect with his narration. You're not just reading/listening to a story you're living it with each character.

Amazing!!
Alice Winters is amazing!
I’m really loving this series and can’t wait to hear the next instalment!
The storyline flows with ease from book to book and love how the characters grow and the diversity of the pack.
I love Emory in this book particularly, his snarkiness, sarcy comebacks and all round character - he’s just so endearing 🥰
Definitely worth 5🌟’s and highly recommend if you love Alice Winters work 😁

The best thing about this is the cover art
While I've enjoyed many of Alice Winter's audios this series is not the best...maybe she's taking advantage of her success and pumping out new books. But the quality of this is well below what I expected.
This story is nonsense, poorly written, poorly edited, strange sentence structures and word choices - as if it was speed written.
I'm tired of the same old cliches and formulas... the stereotype sassy character, the serious character, the angsty events that pull the mcs apart of bring them closer. I got bored very quickly I've heard it all before. The great narrator is the only reason I kept listening.
