Summary
Too many secrets, too many foes....
Richard Royal has escaped death, but it came at a price: a favor to one of the masters of his dystopian theocracy. Three years later, the favor has come due, and he must return to Generica Online.
Once more, he must become a dragon. But even with such power at his command, his troubles are Legion. Surrounded by foes and questionable allies, and stuck defending a cold and lonely site of incredible occult significance, there may be no way out. Can he figure out what is really going on and escape the trap before his sacrifice unleashes blasphemous horrors?

A fun romp
Excellent narrator and a enjoyable, if shorter story than the last. As most these types of novels go its interesting, interesting plot and memorable characters both new and old.

who doesn't love dragons? Am I rite?
Occult Place to Die by @AndrewSeiple. I enjoyed this #book rather alot, mainly for the fact that it has dragons 🐉in it... who doesn't love dragons? Chinese culture loves and worships the things. Fans of #VainqueurtheDragon will love this #litrpg series. 📚 4/5⭐ #BookReview

A worthy sequel to the first book
I confess I am slightly confused about the relationship between wells and the various categories of creatures, and I'm skeptical of the book's apparent espousing of mob rule in chatrooms, but other than that, it was a great time. The familiar characters are back and they grow further over the course of the story as they should. Plus, we meet some new characters that are good to know. The lore revealed is a bit confusing in this one, as I said, but maybe others will make better sense of it and it didn't stop me enjoying the story. I highly recommend this one, and I can't wait for the third one to be out on audiobook

meh
im tired of litrpg books not making sense rpg wise. mc levels up whenever he uses a skill and still struggles. i dont get it. Also this new narrator is not good, everyone sounds the same. if the words didnt say who was talking you would think there is 1 male amd 1 female speaking thoughout the whole story.

Bad Narrator
The new narrator doesn't give any characters differing voices to tell them apart. The story is so good, but it's told so poorly. I feel ripped off and cheated given how awesomely the first story was told.

Bring back Nick Podehl
Hes one of my favorite narrators, he crushed the first book In this series. The new narrator doesn't have the character voice ranges as Podehl and it really hurts the overall experience.

DON'T CHANGE READERS MID SERIES
Terrible reader...no difference in character voices...dudes monotone...along with stupidly changing readers they made a terrible choice for a replacement.

Needs different Narrator!
I really enjoyed the first book, loved the narration but it was all I could do to finish this one.
Story was good, not great. Will not be contacting. Just not enough to hold my interest.

Great continuation
I really enjoyed this book. The Narrator did well tho I was surpised to find that he wasn't the same one from the 1st book. Especially since the 1st one had a preview for the 2nd with the original narrator.
I'm looking forward to hearing the 3rd book to see what's going to happen next.

The Narrator is all wrong!
1. Books in a series should never change narrators mid series!
2. DO REPLACEMENT NARRATORS EVER LISTEN TO THE PREVIOUS BOOKS IN THE SERIES BECAUSE THIS GUY DIDN'T!!!
3. Seriously, I'm about 2 hours in and this guy is terrible. I don't know that I'll be able to finish, unfortunately I already bought the third book as well which is also narrated by this new guy who doesn't like to differentiate voices between characters having a conversation. So 2 credits wasted based on how much i liked the first book in the series.

Fantastic and clever
I love world building, and Andrew Seiple does a superb job of it. The systems and rules (and cheats and loopholes) of Generica are inspiringly well crafted, and he never missed an opportunity for some good wordplay and strange references (such as the word for a group of wendigos). I can't wait for more.
Narration was great. Wouldn't change a thing, and that's saying something, coming from me.
