Horrifying but really worth listening to
I don't think I would ever have picked up this book to read but I am so glad that I listened to it. It really opened my eyes to the truly horrific things that can happen in an abusive relationship and the dreadful loneliness that the abused person finds themselves in. This true story is a real lesson for those of us who walk around with our eyes shut and say nothing even we suspect something. The sadest part of all was the end result for this poor woman, who to me really seemed she had been punished by the 'system' for being abused.

Gives hope!
Never been through this myself, but I couldn’t stop listening to it. The strength you have Hannah is remarkable. Being a mother I understand why you came to your decisions about your girls.

Great book
Narrator, just wow 👏. Really enjoyed this. it gets you hooked quite quickly and then it's hard to stop listening. that is how a book should be.

What an inspirational and amazing lady!
To hear this ladies story was so emotional, I hope she goes on to fulfil all her hopes and dreams. One day her daughters will tell her how proud they are of her. From a fellow survivor with love.
