About this listen
His abilities sealed by a powerful curse, Thorn is racing against the clock to regain his voice.
Will a quest across the world be the answer, or will everything he has gained be stripped away?
Thorn might be the Greymane, but after the disastrous end of the last World Quest he is in no position to rule. Heading off with his friends to seek the cure to his curse, Thorn leaves Moon Wolf Citadel behind to search for the elusive World Tree. After arriving on the other side of Angoril, Thorn and his companions realize that all is not well on the Elven Isle and are forced to flee for their lives.

Huge trends and new friends
Nova Terra: Guardian by @SethRing published by @AethonBooks. This was an incredible novel. The MC Thorn, as well as being Lord Greymane, has lost his voice as a result of swallowing a cursed heart in the previous book. So now he has to get his voice back. Let the fun begin🃏...
A trained martial artist who wields a tetsubo - a club-like weapon with iron spikes - Thorn is a full blown titan bad arse. While adventuring he manages to bump into Alph the alchemist who was the MC in the previous Nova Terra book I read. Mayhem and carnage of course ensue.
The alchemist brews him a potion that cures his mutism but not his curse. After this, Alph and Thorn have to fight their way through a living nightmare leaving a fuck tonne of dead monsters in their wake. The book was fast-paced and filled with action - that I liked.
As the reader, I felt engaged throughout the story. Ring is an incredibly good author with his whimsical imagination and talent for including details of the world the characters inhabit. The narration by @ericjasonmartin was thoughtful and well-paced. 📚 5/5 ⭐️ #BookReview

Still engaging
The story is still going strong, and at a good place. though it could still do with less reading of the complete status notifications.

Loving this so much I’m going through all the series
Is you like gaming, magic, fantasy adventure this is the boom for you, I listen to the first 2 books which are included with audible and have continued to purchase credits for the full series, I’m hoping there will be another book by time I finish listening to them
