About this listen
Noah's Garden is a story of life's most important lessons as seen through the eyes of a variety of animals and mythical entities, both in nature around us and in our imaginations. It takes us through the life of one stray dog named Jewell as she discovers why her crazy antics cause her own troubles to exist, and how that same energy can be placed on a higher level that would surround her and those she loves most with much goodness.
In the process, she runs into the Monster Shadow, the ultimate that exists because of the discarded bad intentions of all those who have gone through Noah's Forest before her as they traveled to the garden and to the discovery of their better selves.
With the help of Daffonia, the deer Jewell encounters first when she enters the forest, and many others, including an aggravating little sprite named Tolebit, all the way through the many Eyes of the Forest and to their leader, Astilbe, Jewell has the journey of a lifetime and discovers the true value of learning life's lessons the hard way.
Noah's Garden is about sudden realizations and the learning process we all go through to reach those levels of understanding. It is about self-reflection and defense mechanisms, fixing our flaws and trying to be as good as we can be. It is about understanding ourselves and learning to understand the world around us.

Journey
Anna Wheeler narration was perfect for this amazing book.
This is so different than my normal listen. We have two different creatures that each have to face different trails and journeys.
Such as friendship, bravery, to do battle with a dark shadow.
Jewel, a lively dog runs away from her bossy owners, looking to find freedom and adventure. She finds herself lost and afraid in the dark forest. Daffonia a deer finds her and tells her the only way to leave the forest is to learn everything the forest has to teach her and find Noah's garden. Together the pair must form new friendships, work together and only with each lesson learned will a new flower reveal itself and show them the way. But they are not alone.
So different , but different in a great way

Heart warming adventure
This is a very different book to what I normally listen too, as I prefer cozy mysteries but I actually enjoyed it. The story is a fun, feel good adventure with cute animals and a lesson we should all learn. The story is set around a dog that is lost in the forest and the lessons she must learn to make it to the end. She is helped by other forest creatures, as well as a unicorn, fairies and sprites. Okay it does sound strange but the way the story unfolds it works. The creatures have to face different life lessons, of which there are many such as friendship, bravery, how to listen, as well as do battle with a dark shadow. All this means the story never had the chance to get boring. The author cleverly crafts an enchanting world with her words and has plotted out a heart warming adventure that is suitable for any age.
Jewel, a mischievous dog runs away from her bossy owners, looking to find freedom and adventure. Instead she finds herself lost and afraid in the dark forest. Until she is found by a deer, Daffonia, where she is informed that the only way to leave the forest is to learn everything the forest has to teach her and find Noah's garden. Together the pair must form new friendships, work together and only with each lesson learned will a new flower reveal itself and show them the way. But they are not alone, a dark shadow stalks them and the other creatures in the forest. Can they learn quickly enough to discover the beautiful garden hidden deep within the forest or will the shadows catch up to them?
I like the narrator and she is the reason I tried this. She continues to give an excellent performance full of excitement and strange noises.
