About this listen

She’s His One Weakness—And He’ll Burn the World to Save Her.

Niall Black

Loyal right-hand to Finn O’Reilly. Cousin and trusted friend.

He lives for the life he’s created. Filled with business, both day-to-day and dangerous. Not interested in a relationship of any kind outside of his comfort zone.

Until fate brings her to him. Annabelle Lewis.

She awakens something inside him. A need. A desire.

A new set of feelings he wasn’t prepared for.

When she is taken from him, how far will he go to get her back?

To the ends of the earth.

And anyone in his way will be removed.

Permanently.

The suspenseful finale in The Irishmen duet by New York Times Bestselling author Melanie Moreland.

This is an intense, emotional, and suspenseful conclusion to "The Irishmen" Duet. I loved how Niall, the cold and controlled enforcer, falls hard for Anna, a brave survivor. Their instant connection felt powerful and believable, and watching Niall struggle with emotions he never expected was both sweet and swoony. The action kept me hooked, and the romance had just the right amount of steam and heart. John Lane’s Irish-accented narration brought Niall to life perfectly, brooding, protective, and raw. Maxine Mitchell gave Anna such warmth and strength that their chemistry jumped off the audio. This duet is a must-listen for fans of protective alpha heroes with a soft side.

I really enjoyed this world the author has created. Niall and Ana have such a beautiful connection and their relationship progresses quickly. I appreciated the internal struggle Niall goes through due to his history and the circumstances in which these two meet. The protectiveness is on point and there was quite a bit of action involved for such a short book.

John Lane and his Irish accent has me swooning!!! He has the perfect tone to play these alpha protective men and I am hooked. Maxine Mitchell has been a long time favorite of mine and she performed Ana’s character with so much emotion. i highly recommend catching this duet in audio if you’re able.

Great duet!!

I think I fell even harder for Niall than I did Finn. There is something so powerful about the instant connection of Niall and Anna. There wasn’t the history of Oona & Finn, but that didn’t lessen the emotional connection at all. If anything it was stronger for the unknown of it all. The overwhelming affection he felt took him by surprise and that easily carried to the reader. I loved Anna’s openness and trust. It was elemental, he was her person and she could feel it. Their story was exciting, new and powerful. The suspense was carried out with a definite foreboding that gave me chills. The syndicate’s story wrapped up with lovely little bow and a beautiful HEA.

John Lane & Maxine Mitchell did a great job with narration. John really brought out the protective nature in his voice, which I loved. Maxine Mitchell does a fantastic job with vulnerability. They made a terrific combo!
