Summary
A vicious attack. A dirty secret...and a chance for justice.
Ex-police officer Sebastian Clifford is quickly finding that life as a private investigator is never quiet. His doors have only been open a few weeks when DCI Whitney Walker approaches him to investigate the brutal attack that left her older brother, Rob, with irreversible brain damage.
For nearly twenty-five years, Rob had no memory of that night, but lately things are coming back to him. Whitney's worried that her brother might–once again–be in danger.
Clifford knows only too well what it's like to be haunted by the past, so he agrees to help. But the deeper he digs, the more secrets he uncovers, and soon he discovers that Rob's not the only one in danger.
Never Too Late is the third book in the Detective Sebastian Clifford series, perfect for those who love gripping crime fiction.

Can't wait for the next installment
We finally have answers to several questions in this book and I'm so pleased at how it's panned out. Yet we're left wanting more, right at the very end.
I tried a few other authors whilst waiting for this release. I can tell you that most were so disappointing. They're just not on the same level as Sally Rigby. I only wish she could write faster. The wait between books leaves me salivating.

Best yet!
Really enjoyed the first two, but felt this was the best so far. As ever the storyline was direct with no background ramblings to provide distraction from the main plot.
Jonathan Keeble brilliant as ever and the accents very much improved also.
Looking forward to the next one!

Loving this series.
I only started listening to this series because Johnathan Keeble was the narrator. I love his narration and often choose books simply because he is reading them.
I am so glad I did. I have become a firm fan of Seb, Birdie, Twiggy and the rest of the regular characters.
Sally Rigby tells a great tale, so much so that I finished each book within two days of starting it.
The series is going from strength to strength, with believable characters each facing their own problems but coming together to make a formidable team. I do hope we continue to see them work together as the series progresses.
Looking forward to book 4.

Loving these books but confused……..
Likeable characters and a good plot, don’t understand why Birdie would leave a good job and invest all her savings in a fledgling business, what exactly is she paying for? There’s no goodwill, cases, property etc, so what has she done? I need to know what she is actually getting? Confused

Enjoyable nonsense
Sally Rigby's stories are silly, enjoyable nonsense with belief definitely having to be suspended. Police procedures are ridiculous - for example a private investigator being allowed to formally interview a gun and people smuggler at the police station, the dialogue between characters borders high on the cringe scale and the narrator, good as he is, just shouldn't attempt female voices. However, it's entertaining enough and not to be taken seriously. But, and for me there is always this ‘but’ - with such short run times , Sally Rigby's audiobooks are expensive in comparison to other books of 10, 11 hrs plus listening times.

Twists and Turns
Book 3. This was a great story to listen to. It answered all the questions as to what happened to DCI Whitney Walker's brother. I like the way Seb and Birdy interact with one another. A great listen. Thank you Sally

I like this series even more than Cavendish and Walker but find the overlap between the two series to be a lot of fun.

Friendships
This was such a great read/listen it brought Seb and DCI Whitney together working on a cold case, that of her brother's beating 25 years ago and Birdie and her team working on another case which brings the two cases together. Resulting in a resolution for both parties and Birdie has she made her decision???? now waiting for the next book to see ......

Narration
I search for books narrated by Jonathan Keeble. He is a perfectionist when it comes to bringing a story alive. I sincerely hope he continues to work on this series. Can’t wait for the nxt one.
