Summary

When Sydney police department sex crimes detective Harriet Blue is called into her boss' office, she never imagines it will be to tell her that her brother is the prime suspect in the brutal murders of three women.

Shocked and in denial, Harry is transferred to Perth to avoid the media exposure this case will attract. Harry is sent into the outback - the never never - to investigate the disappearance of mine worker Danny Carter. The mining town is a seedy place, full of money and immoral ways to spend it. As Harry delves deeper into the murky lives of these miners, she finds that Danny wasn't the first to go missing.

great book

it's a good book, although the narrators voice is a bit annoying, but a part from that it's a good story line, much like all the other jack reaches I've read

1st ever book I didn't fully enjoy

OK but not the normal flow or gripping storyline expected now from James patterson. but can't complain really as the author is a genius.

Very disappointed and I'm a huge JP fan!

Would you try another book written by James Patterson or narrated by Federay Holmes?

I love JP and always devour his books. I just don't know what it was with this one. Not sure if it's the female character of the narration but it's taken me over two weeks to finish instead of my usual day/two

What could James Patterson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Not sure if it was just JP! Don't think he's made this female character as good as his Murder Club girls.....

How could the performance have been better?

Could not warm to her, the person, nature, character - anything at all......

Could you see Never Never being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?

No....!

Any additional comments?

As I have already said, I love James Patterson and usually finish his books on release day or the day after....This one I had to keep stopping and going back to - only other time I've had an issue was Private India....I can't quite say what was wrong with this, but I did do one of JP's 'books shots' in between and loved it!

Meh

Way to obvious. Called the plot to soon in and was never surprised. Shame Patterson is usually on top form

How the mighty hath fallen

What would have made Never Never better?

James Patterson is one of my favourite authors. I have read nearly all his books, held him up as an example of a great story teller who can write gripping books without the use of foul language......until now. The F word was used over and over b nearer all the characters, bad enough to read it, but to have it ring in my ears, enough said.

Any additional comments?

Please Mr Patterson, no more swearing
