About this listen
My cheating ex has me swearing off men. Until Lewis comes along, stealing my breath and my good sense.
I've never been one to lust after guys. But Lewis is six-and-a-half feet of rugged man, and he's...eye-catching. Sexy. And silently brooding in all the best ways.
The more time I spend with him, the naughtier my thoughts are of us together, and he's not helping put a stop to it. It's infuriating. I'm fantasizing and lusting, and I can't remember why I wanted to stay away.
But Lewis carries his own relationship baggage. Baggage that could break me in ways no ex-boyfriend ever did.
Despite all the reasons I shouldn't get involved, Lewis might be the one man I can't resist.
Excerpt:
He tugs down his shorts - and goes completely naked.
He glances up. "You can stay in your panties. I'm getting clean.... What? I trust you not to grope me." He grins.
Previously titled Mountain Man.

Cute
It was nice to see Gen’s side of events, and see her struggles & how hard she worked to overcome them.

Loved every minute of it
the characters were well thought out and the story developed seemlessly, would highly recommend

Really nice book to listen, especially because it’s free. Would I buy it? Probably not, but it does give feel good feeling, and does create some other feelings

It was good but…
It seemed to take forever to get to the point.
I liked the dynamics of the characters, but felt that there was a lot not described enough. It was kind of like ‘so, it’s been x amount of days and all of this happened.’ I would’ve liked to have known how the characters dealt with that, especially Mira dealing with Lewis and Gen’s relationship. We were just told she was coming to terms with it.
Well, even though I thought the story was good, I don’t think I’m invested enough to find out what happens after the cliffhanger.

AN ACTUAL STORY😀👍
I am pleasantly surprised that there is a good story here. Yes of course there is explicit sexual content in a few chapters but it is more of a story than sex!
I like that the Characters are the same as the other books in the series which I have also listened too for free on the "INCLUDED" section. The books are going to be padlocked on the 8th of March 2023, so I am listening to all the books in the series before that.
I would recommend you listen to the books but I personally wouldn't spend money or credit on them.
The narrator is really clear but I had to raise the narration speed as she was too slow for me!

Easy listening for outdoor work
An easy story to listen to when working outdoors, the narrator is good, the story is simple and like watching a 'chick-flick'. My only complaint is the author using the word 'spastic' to describe the character's physical feelings for the man she has her eye on. It is an offensive and derogatory word for mental disabilities. Perhaps the author and editor could reconsider the choice of emotive language.
