Summary

I know who took my daughter. Only his mother can help me....

My little girl’s room is dark. Her bed is empty. I turn on her unicorn nightlight and bury my face in her pillow, my heart breaking.

I know who did this. His name is Samuel Barlow. He has pale sallow skin and red-rimmed icy-blue eyes. But no one will listen.

As darkness falls and rain lashes against the window, there’s a knock at my door and I open it to see those same eyes staring back at me. It’s his mother and she says she can help me find my daughter.

My gut feeling says don’t trust her.

But as hopes of finding my little girl fade with each passing hour, how can I turn away?

A completely gripping and twist-packed listen from the number one best-selling author K.L. Slater. If you like Liane Moriarty and Lisa Jewell you will be totally hooked on Missing.

The book that keeps on giving!

I’ve read / listened to a lot of K L Slaters books and this one topped them all imo. Just when you think you know you really don’t.. an answer is shown but then there’s still 3 chapters left what more could come?!
The ending was brilliant so many turns! I’m usually good at guessing endings but I’m so happy that this one I didn’t guess at all!

Gripping story

I have listened to a few KL Slater books and love her style of writing.
The really annoying thing is the stupid voices the reader gives children. I am sure if the child Ivy, who comes across in story as loving and clever, really spoke like this she would not have been missed.
Just give children a gentle voice not make them sound like the Krankies

Easy listen and a great story

Although it was predictable if you’re used to this kind of tale and this author, this was a gripping and easy to listen to thriller which, like the rest of the authors books, I found enjoyable and captivating.

Excellent

This was an intriguing story from the very start that quickly evolved into a heady and anxious mix of oohs, ahhs and gasps.
I think the ending was extremely thought-provoking but can't say too much in a review without giving the story away. Hmmm, it's left me asking a lot of questions about what I'd do in that situation.
Superbly written and performed.
