About this listen
Discover how to strike the perfect screen-time balance. Reap the benefits of technology without the negative consequences.
You may find yourself worrying that your child is spending more time in front of a screen than playing outside, learning something new, or socializing with family.
All you ever hear is how technology is rotting the brains of your kids, preventing them from developing social skills and exposing them to violence.
What you need to know is: all this stigma around technology is often misinformed.
There is no doubt that overexposure to anything can be harmful.
But when you apply technology, the right way, you uncover the endless benefits it can offer. The quality of the digital content we expose our kids to is what makes the difference. It’s about leaning into the positives of screen-time while being aware of when it becomes negative.
In The Guilty Parents - Screen Kids, you will discover:
- The essential tools to moderate technology use in your kids’ lives, manage your own worry and anxiety, and maintain a happy family
- A well-researched guide to help you navigate screen-time and know how to set healthy limits
- The myths about technology use and unhealthy amounts of digital exposure - debunked
- A strategy for when to set screen-time rules - and when to let go of them
- The online activities and video games that can inspire creativity, boost problem-solving skills, and educate...all at the same time
- Practical information to help you set reasonable rules and sensible boundaries that work for your family
- And much more.
As a parent, it’s natural to worry.
But you don’t have to feel guilty for letting your child watch their favorite show once in a while, or agonize about not spending enough time together as a family.
Now, you can know exactly how you can make the most of technology while strengthening your bond with your kids.

A must for parents
The further technology advances, the further two forces pull apart on parents and their kids. Kids want to use tech and pick up new tech much more quickly. Parents need to be able to limit/moderate/control what their kids are up to but are finding themselves increasingly behinds the times and unable to keep up. This book is excellent in providing a balanced view of both the up side and the down side of your kids technology use, how much to limit screen-time and as importantly how to do that! A must!

A life saviour
This audiobook is a life saviour ! I am saying this for several reasons. First, it is one of the rarest tools available in the market. Many parents are feeding their kids with all kinds of device and technology thinking that this will make their kids smarter.. No!!! it is a killer! The author well exposes the problem internet of things creates. Second, there are some tools available on how to help prevent digital addictions. Rather than spending time searching for those, the author gathered all these important tools , techniques, and tips in one book. Third, A golden one! How to turn these tech for a positive development. The author nailed it! Love it!!

Great Advice
This book caught my eye straight away because it is something that we as parents struggle with a lot. Technology is a huge part of our society today but its hard to find a balance and when enough is enough, This book had lots of good advice and definitely some things that I will put into practice.

Very interesting book!
I've not seen many audiobooks that cover this subject. This is so important and kids are mainly obsessed with that little screen. Digital addiction is a real and very dangerous thing now. Kids are shutting themselves away from the real world and living in front of screens as observers. This is a very good and well narrated audiobook.

The essential guide for all parents
This audiobook breaks the myths that most parents have. (Like playing games will make them violent, lazy, or dumb). If they can cultivate their ability to think independently, it won't be a problem! It gives good advice about teaching kids how to make use of technology wisely. The internet has too much information, but we can always find value if we pay attention! Great listen!

As a new parent you often do not know whether you are doing the right thing when it comes to raising your kids. We often hear that giving our kids technology is lazy parenting and that it is detrimental to their development. This book debunked these myths and teaches you how to make the most of technology while strengthening your bond with your kids.

excellent parenting book
Feeling guilty is part of parenting!! Doesn't matter what you do, you are going to feel guilty about something. Am I doing enough, Am I over protective, am I spoiling my kids, do they get too much screen time etc.
I must admit I have used the TV as a nanny while trying to finish my chores!
This book has information, ideas and most importantly reassurance for parents who feel guilty or are not sure how much screen time is enough/roo much.
Great book, I'd recommend to all parents looking for advice and information on raising children in the current digital world.
