Summary

Why are there great athletes, leaders, students, artists, and so on?

What separates greatness from mediocrity?

What do they have that others don’t?

So what makes these people successful? The answer is mental toughness, or what others call grit. And what’s great about it is that it can be learned. It is not something that you are born with, like intelligence or talent. So why is it essential in achieving success? Everything will be discussed in this audiobook.

You may be strong and intelligent, but if your mind already gave up, then there is nothing you can do about it. Your mental strength is the trait that will push you to the finish line, not intelligence or strength, especially if it is a long and arduous test.

This audiobook covers:

  • Paradigms imposed with habits
  • Positive mindset
  • Get out of your box
  • Outline of how habits are formed
  • Self-image
  • The key habit
  • Build your stress-relief
  • Respect your commitments to others
  • Positive thinking
  • Motivation
  • The magical power of error
  • The power to decide
  • Our reputation
  • The importance of your mental health
  • Living 100/100 - the best version of you
  • And many more.

Look around you every day, and you'll see people showing toughness of mind.

Probably at least on some occasion you have shown some mental hardness before, and maybe you didn't realize you were using it.

This audiobook shows you how to find your mental hardness and make the best use of it.

Impossible to listen to this narrator

It could be ok but I can’t get past the choppy delivery and heavy accent.

Effortless

Some concepts are crazy effective. The principle of minimum stimulus is giving me phenomenal results. Apply this concept and you will discover pure effectiveness.

Cultivate the Awareness

With this book my awareness has risen to another level. Each time I listen to the same concept, I discover new facets that previously went unnoticed. Beautiful reading voice as well.

It teaches you how to lead yourself.

With this book I am realizing that I will be the one to guide my actions from now on, not letting bad habits get me down but always managing to install new and better ones. Thank you

Managing negative emotions

So many things I take home from this book but the most important is that I am understanding how to manage my negative emotions. Good audio voice as well.

Very alternative

This is the second book I've listened to by this author. The alternative style of viewing some issues, such as habits, self image, self-observations and more, is confirmed in this book as well.

Finally, something different.

I'm getting a lot of pleasure listening back to several chapters of this book. Many topics are interesting, especially the principle of minimum stimulus I think is incredibly powerful. However I would have appreciated a more in-depth look at this principle also because I can't find much else around, but it is cool.

Very useful and practical

The principles and thoughts outlined in this book are fairly typical of the field but are addressed in an alternative way in several places. Especially the principle of minimum stimulus, which I have never heard before, is very interesting and I am applying it in different areas of my life activities with good results. To experience.
