Great book for lockdown

Rosa was all Me, me, me
Oh for heavens sake.......I felt like crawling into the the book and shaking Rosa, she just harped on and on about her past life and the effect it had on her mental state. I found her self centred harping about herself very boring.

Could have been better!
I thought the storry was still powerful, but i would have enjoyed it so much more, if Penny Andrews had read the sequel.
Penny read each character so very well in the first book The Corner Shop in Cockleberry Bay. I didn’t enjoy the way Danielle read, the book. I feel it is really important that the same reader reads a series where ever possible.
Nicola May had a very powerful story line, written in a very entertaining and mostly realistic way, and that change let it down for me personally.
