Summary
Justice McBride feels like he’s been knocked upside the head with a two-by-four the moment he sees Fiona dancing on stage at a festival. The gorgeous redhead captivates him from the moment he sees her.
Fiona O’Shea and her daughter travel the Southwest, selling jewelry they design. She and Sophie don’t have a place to call home. When Fiona meets sexy cowboy Justice McBride, she starts to consider settling down and giving her daughter a stable life. Despite her deep attraction to Justice, Fiona doesn’t think it’s possible. She’s been on the run with her now 12-year-old daughter. Her ex, Gilroy, was sentenced to prison for murder not long after Fiona fled his abuse. Now he’s out of prison and he’s hunting her.
When Gilroy finds her, he kidnaps Sophie, and Fiona’s world comes crashing down. Justice and Fiona must find Sophie before it’s too late. And build a love meant to last a lifetime.

finding one's soulmate
This is my first book to read from this author. I don't typically like whirlwind romances, which I feel this is one of them. The story started with Fiona with her adughter Sophia meeting Justice in a fair. The instance the 2 met, they were attracted to each other. Then in the short time after, lots of happy and unhappy moments happened.
Entertaining story about meeting your soulmate and the tenacity of a battered woman/mother. Loved Fiona's realization, and sacrifices. Loved Justice's devotion and family-centered ideals.
I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Eh 🤷🏾♀️🥱
RECEIVED THIS FREE ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW! : TRIGGERS: abuse, stalking, child selling, rape, kidnapping, assault. Slooooooow Burn. This story dragged on and on and I mean it didn't get exciting until the antagonist finally made a move. Let me just say, that was a HOURS into the book. So it starts at a town festival and Justice, former military, is there and entranced by a dancer on the stage. That dancer also happens to sell jewelry that she and her daughter made as well as tell fortunes. She has an Irish brogue and lives kind of like the gypsy life. Most of the beginning was just Justice trying to get a date. 🤦🏾♀️ No game whatsoever. Then once he gets one he starts moving faster than the cars at NASCAR. Fiona is running from her past. Her family gave her away to another clan and she ended up pregnant. Knows she's just trying to keep her daughter safe. But her past had caught up with her and he wants his family back. To me, the book was boring. The main characters had no real chemistry and the one sex scene was even plain vanilla. Then there's the random element of someone from Justice's past joining the story and I'm like "wait what now?" I can't even with this book..

My head and heart of full of Fiona O'Shea
It is love at first sight for justice McBride when he sees Fiona dancing. Fiona and her daughter Sophia are on the run, not staying anywhere for too long. They sell their handmade jewelry and glass decorations to put food on the table and to survive.
Justice was immediately captivated and felt the need to meet Fiona and make her and Sophia his family.
This was a suspenseful and thrilling novel, with bumps along the road and twists and turns to add to the story. These westerns are cleanly written with just a flavor of romance and love.
The narrator is one of my favorites, I take his work in the car and to camp!

It's in the cards
Oh be still my heart. Love at first sight for this sexy hot cowboy. When Justice saw the beautiful red haired woman dancing, he knew he had to meet her.
Theona is strong willed, stubborn, independent, mystical. She is on the run with her daughter Sophie, trying to hide from her abuser.
The mystery surrounding Theona could get them all killed. This story kept me on the edge of my seat.
David Quimby narration is very good. Bringing all the emotions into each character.
I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

Gotta love a McBride cowboy
Ah, Justice McBride….honorable, smart, drool-worthy. Justice is enraptured by a performer at the annual Prescott festival and makes it known. Fiona is attracted to the hot cowboy but she’s on the run from her past. Justice isn’t deterred and it’s a good thing because Fiona and her daughter needs his help to stay safe. Lovely story and narration.
