Steph Gingrich has finally run out of couches to surf. Now she’s back at her dad’s place in Seattle to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life.
When running an RPG session for her local gamer café, Steph meets Izzie. Izzie is electric: a punk, a girl who likes girls, and a hella good guitarist. Steph finds the punk life is exactly what she needs, she loves the music, the art and the fashion, but most of all she likes the girl. Entranced, she offers to drum for Izzie, forming the band Drugstore Makeup.
A hit in more ways than one, Drugstore Makeup compete in a battle of the bands before deciding to tour the offbeat punk venues of America. But Steph and Izzie soon find themselves on different wavelengths, unable to communicate, and wanting different things.

the narrator she was OUTSTANDING I LOVED HER
I loved the representation in this book, the gripping storyline I couldn't stop listening to it I'm definitely going to be reading this again in the close future

The perfect set-up for the story
If you've loved the characters from the games, this really won't disappoint. I listened as I read the physical book and really enjoyed it and already want more Steph!

Katy Bentz gives a wonderful performance of the character she gave life too in the games. An absolute must for Life Is Strange fans and Steph fans in particular.

A must for all Life is Strange fans!
Anyone who’s ever played Life is Strange: Before the Storm or True Colors will find something they love in this book. Steph continues to be one of the most interesting characters in the saga, and learning more about her time between Before the Storm and True Colors is a treat.
What’s more, the amazing Katy Bentz narrates this audiobook bringing a level of immersion that’s insanely rare to find. She offers moments of laughter, tension and sadness as she embodies Steph to perfection once more.
So go for it, enjoy!

LIS universe expands
A fantastic companion to the LIS story. If you are a fan of the LIS world this is a must. As someone who has played all the games and read the comic's I welcome further stories about this world. Steph is a character that deserves her own game but I think this book is a fantastic way to expand Steph as a character and fill in a lot of blanks between the before the storm and true colours. All the better that it is voiced by Steph's actual voice actor. 5/5
