About this listen
Now that they’ve married, is the beautiful new Countess of Andover’s husband too masterful? Diana Sterling, having fallen deeply in love with Simon Warrington, Earl of Andover, and now his countess, is no longer inclined to fulfill his every whim. Since Simon seems bent on changing her, she has rebelled.
Known as “Lady Escapade,” she vigorously resists Simon’s attempts to curb her defiant behavior and heedless flirtations, widening the gap between them. So when she embarks on her most dangerous escapade yet, will Simon be able to save her...and their marriage?

Fair story terrible narration
The story seems similar to georgette heyer tales and has some interesting moments. The author includes names from social history threading these through the tale. However, the narrator has a very odd accent and can’t pronounce simple words like viscount.

A bit predictable
As with other reviewers I did find the narrator rather difficult to listen to. Male voices were awful and pronunciation of certain words really wrong and off putting. I dont understand why narrators don’t check the pronunciation of common English words like viscount (no s sound) and salisbury ( Salsbury no i sound).
The heroine was actually rather annoying and the hero was given no character depth at all.
Glad I didn’t pay for this one but I should say that I have enjoyed other books by this author.
