Summary

His fate hangs on a drug trial gone wrong. Can he keep his family safe when he becomes a target?

London chiropractor David “Stitch” Stichell is desperate to hold onto his adopted daughter. Already struggling with deteriorating health, his heart breaks when her birth father returns to take her away. But his life spirals into chaos when the other man is suddenly murdered.

As his experimental cancer treatment mysteriously self-destructs, the people around Stitch start dying - leaving him as the prime suspect. Vowing to find out who’s behind the assassins on his tail, he must dodge acid-laden syringes and hails of bullets.

Will this frantic dad stop his enemies before he’s filled full of holes?

Kill&Cure is the gripping first book in the Varcy and Kendrick crime thriller series. If you like flawed characters, British settings, and fast-paced action, then you’ll love Steve Davison’s intense pause-resister.

Page turner

Certainly a bit of a page turner, but soooo many characters and too much medical and scientific detail made it difficult to follow whether as an Audible or physical book. I often lost sight of who were the good guys and the bad guys, maybe too many red herrings in there also. The narration by David Rintoul was excellent and certainly helped differentiate some of the character and because of this I would recommend it.
