About this listen
Alliances are forged and broken, friendships shattered, and despite the odds stacked against them, two hearts collide in this explosive sequel to Silk & Steel.
From his mother's cage to a human one, but Lysander's captors are the least of his concerns. Rumors of a monstrous bronze dragon ripple through human camps, a dragon tearing great holes in the world as though searching for something...or someone.
It's just a matter of time before the bronze chief, Dokul, finds Lysander and makes good on his promises. And should he find him, Lysander knows Dokul will not be merciful.
Amidst the greatest of elven victories, Eroan failed. Failed his people, failed himself, and failed the dragon who saved him. But he will not falter. The dragonkin are in disarray, there will never be a greater opportunity to strike. Eroan Ilanea will not fail his people again.
But when rumors of the dragon prince's survival reach him, he must choose: fight for his people or fight for the prince who nobody thought to save?
Contains mature themes.

ITS SOOOO GOOD!! You won’t be able to stop!
The story is so gripping that I haven’t been able to stop listening. Not only is the narrator so good at getting each character spot on but the writing it perfect! I have been on a roller coaster of emotions, sometimes desperate for them to just have their happiness. It is a must have! And can’t wait to start the next book!

Agggghhhhh
Really enjoying this series all though it makes me so restless. The characters are so vivid and real the pain cuts deep desperately holding on for a HEA for both the main characters. They deserve a break and each other ! Fighting on through these books to hopefully get to a good outcome for them.

Fine
The reality is this book is fine. In my opinion this series does not need to be three books. One would have done. It goes around in circles, and much like the previous, it does a bit too much telling for my liking. But if you’re looking for a gay angsty fantasy love story. Then you’ll like this.

IT JUST KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!!!!
By Alum(don't know if I spelt that right), this book is absolutely phenomenal. A compelling sequel that did not let me down one bit. I LOVED this book I think more than the first book.
Book 2 was exhilarating! I was screaming my support and warning for characters this author has somehow made me love and others, hate.
I hope book 3 comes soon because I really don't want to forget this feeling or let this level of investment fade. I wish it was avaible now because I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Once again, the narrator was acceptional. Perfect for such a complex tale.

The Saga Continues...
Iron & Fire picks up not long after the thrilling ending of Book 1, Silk & Steel, and finds the Dragon Prince Lysander a caged prisoner of the humans, whilst Eroan the Eleven assassin, has returned to his people, mistakenly thinking he has had Lysander put to death.
Dokul, the Bronze Dragon 🐉 is determined to have Lysander for himself, lying waste to all who come in his path.
This is a dark saga, full of trauma and abuse but it is also a story of hope and love story between two complex characters, Dragon and elf mortal enemies, who face hardship at every turn, but will do anything to save each other.
I can’t wait for the final instalment Silk & Steel #3: Blood & Ice
Cornell Collins is perfect in his narration. I hope he narrates the last book.
