You definitely don’t want to miss this one
Into Hell is the fourth and final book in the Road to Hell series, ideally the series should be read in order. This book does contain triggering content such as death, violence and briefly mention parental abuse.
Into Hell is still one of my favourite books since I first read it in 2017, so when the audiobook came out I just had to get it. It’s such an amazing book I’ve listened and read the book multiple times (like many, many times …) and will still continue to listen to it in the future.
River and Kobal are also one of my favourite couples!
River is strong, selfless, caring and incredibly powerful.
Speaking of power, Kobal definitely has it in spades, incredibly hot, fierce, protective and the way he loves River is so incredibly swoony.
So many shocking surprises, heart-stopping action, incredible love - not just between Kobal and River but also with other characters, humour, heartbreak, and so much more!
Sonja Field’s capability of adapting her voice for each character was awe inspiring; I could hear every emotion, every single tiny detail displayed beautifully. I throughly enjoyed and anticipated waiting to hear how she would interpret the different characters. I can honestly say not one of them sounded the same; it definitely wasn’t obvious that they were read by the same person. The only imitation I didn’t like was Gage and Bailey’s - it just didn’t sound natural and was too high pitched for me.
Brenda K Davies’ insanely unique world building and intricately woven plot is unlike anything else I have ever read, making it even more addictive. You definitely don’t want to miss this one.
