Excellent presentation of strategy

Kyle Faber is excellent at presenting his findings based on his evaluation of available studies as well as real world examples from his practice regarding the correct approach to reversing type 2 diabetes. He lays bare the fallacy and conventional wisdom from our medical system which chooses to treat the symptoms rather than the the underlying cause of insulin resistance.

Myth buster

Certainly busted some fasting myths for me.Kyle Faber 's explanation of how insulin levels contribute to the inability to lose weight is genius. Best analogy I've run across yet.

Being a keto dieter for a few years who has plateaued, I gave a 24 hour fast a try after reading this book. I was very surprised how well I did. I am now planning a longer fast for this coming week.

All Should Do This

This book changed my life. It prepared me for something I thought I could never do by explaining how my body would react and helped me push through step by step. I'm down almost 30 lbs and feel amazing! It got me off my meds. Thank you Kyle Faber! All physicians should teach this.

One of my favorite books

I have listen Keto Clarity and Cholesterol Clarity as well and also recommend those titles. As for Kyle Faber I am a HUGE fan. I have been doing long term fasts about once month trying to move my A1C to a healthier number and also I do intermittent fasting usually eating only one Ketogenic meal one time each day every day that I am not doing a long term water fast and I have lost 50 lbs in 3 months and it has not been hard to keep it off in spite of full participation in family parties all summer long. I just repent after the party is over and go back to what I was doing and the 1-3 pounds of over indulging weight gain goes away again. I can see myself living this way long term. I have better energy, lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar, and just feel generally healthier. I watch everything Jason Fung puts on youtube and what he has to say just makes so much sense. Buy this book and also the Obesity Code by Jason Fung. They are so great!!

Great information

I like the way this book is written. It's easy to follow and to the point. Good references provided. Did my first fast today 12/11/18. Feel amazing, so much energy. Hope to see results.

Powerful

I have about 16 lbs. to lose and despite being in ketosis for over 2 months it is not coming off nearly as fast as I had hoped. I've listen stories of people that have had great success but all that I've been able to manage to lose is 3 lbs. of water weight. I knew that some have used intermittent fasting in addition to a low carb, mod. protein, and high fat diet but I feared it and couldn't get past the idea. The disappointment with not losing my extra fat despite my best efforts spurred me to think about pulling out the big guns!!!!! I'm thankful to have read this in my time of need! The reassurance that the worst of the hunger signals does not last past the 2 day mark was well worth the Kindle price for me and has given me the encouragement to just do it!!!

As a medical doctor

As a medical doctor, I concur with just about everything Kyle Faber says in this book. I am stunned that the medical field and nutrition experts have been so wrong for decades, and will definitely change my personal eating habits and my recommendations to friends, family, and patients alike.

All four of my grandparents

All four of my grandparents were diabetics, one of my grandparents passed away from diabetes related complications...and one of my parents and sister's is pre-diabetic. So, I am very concerned about weight and diabetes.
