About this listen
Love Actually meets Groundhog Day in this magical holiday romance from the New York Times best-selling author of The Unhoneymooners.
It's the most wonderful time of the year...but not for Maelyn Jones. She's living with her parents, hates her going-nowhere job and has just made a romantic error of epic proportions.
But perhaps worst of all, this is the last Christmas Mae will be at her favourite place in the world - the snowy cabin where she and her family have spent every holiday since she was born. Mentally melting down as she drives away for the final time, Mae throws out what she thinks is a simple plea to the universe: Please. Show me what will make me happy.
The next thing she knows, everything goes black.... When Mae gasps awake, she's back on an airplane, beginning the same holiday all over again. With one hilarious disaster after another sending her back to the plane, Mae must figure out how to break free of the strange time loop - and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.
Jam-packed with yuletide cheer, an unforgettable cast of characters and Christina Lauren's trademark hilarious hijinks, this swoon-worthy romantic listen will make you believe in the power of wishes and the magic of the holidays.

Enjoyable
Nice little Christmas story to pass the time, not my favourite Christina Lauren Novel. Not something you can reread though.

Perfect festive reading fare!
Loved that it was set at Christmas, loved the fact that the characters had known themselves for most of their lives. Not entirely sure the ‘Groundhog Day’ twist added anything to the story but it certainly didn’t detract from it. Loved the story period!

A great Christmassy story
Story was good and the performance was great. There was a technical issue however, the volume randomly dropped a lot and then went louder again. I played it on different devices and with different speakers so it's not an issue on my end. Not a major problem but it's something to be aware of.

A PLEASANT SURPRISE 3🌟🌟🌟
A lovely festive listen. I am so glad i took a risk and bought this as it was actually a good story. Yes, it is the premise of 'Groundhog Day' but without the continual do-evers (only a few), its about true love, romance, Christmas, Family and lifelong Friendships! Worth £2.99 in the Christmas sale. The narrator was good and clear.

Childish and unsatisfying
Very little time-loop, lots of internal monologue. Too many characters, less than zero twists. Very disappointing.
