Summary
A spy prince needs: a man who sees through his disguise.
Prince Benedict is not what he seems. His image as a lazy playboy is carefully constructed to hide the truth. Trained since childhood to become Rosavia's top spy, he spends his life in disguise - and danger - to protect his country. Nobody sees the loneliness in his heart.
Felix Wright is a genius with four degrees, no real-world experience, and a top-secret job...and he's never even been kissed. A lifetime of being alienated for his most valuable assets has left him reluctant to trust the charming prince who thrusts him into fieldwork for the very first time.
When the Crown Jewels are stolen two weeks before the royal ball, it's their job to save the country's reputation. Benedict helps Felix believe in himself, while Felix slowly coaxes the real prince out of hiding. But can they find the jewels and rescue the most priceless treasures of all: Each other?
Welcome to the tiny European country of Rosavia, where roses ramble over alpine slopes and princes fall for the men of their dreams. Every Rosavia Royals book happens simultaneously, so books can be read on their own, or in any order...but keep an eye out for familiar faces around the palace!

So good
This is a sweet story. With bits of Cinders and Bond thrown in. Ben is a secret spy for his country. But to the world he is a playboy prince who acts the fool. Coming back from his latest assignment he meets his new boss. His former having retired. Felix is a shock to him. Not only is he young, about the same age as him. But he is gorgeous and from the start he can't help flirting with him.
Felix is a shy man, not use to being the centre of attention. More use to being the bait of jealous and bullying men who aren't as clever as he is. Felix is a genius. He knows his stuff but has no idea how to act with a spy prince who he is starting to have feelings for.
Together they have to find out who is trying to bring down the kingdom of Rosavia. They only have a few days to do it in before Rosavia starts to unravel bringing down the kindom from the top.

Enjoyable!
4.5 Stars!
In His Court is Prince Benedict's book, the fourth in line to the throne and a veritable spy for his country! Again, you can totally read these books in any order you prefer and I'm sure you'll find something to love in each of them.
This one, because of Benedict's profession and the fact that the Rosavia jewels had been stolen, was more action-packed and dare I say, a little Bond-like, and very enjoyable. I absolutely adored Benedict, he was definitely not what I expected or who Felix thought he was. It took me longer to warm up to Felix, who was a nerdy genius working with Benedict and had a huge chip on his shoulder. I totally got why, but I wasn't too happy by how Felix totally judged Benedict by his reputation and jumped to conclusions over Benedict's reasons for not wanting him on the field risking his life. Still, they had great chemistry and I enjoyed watching them work together later in the story.
Kieran Flitton did such a fantastic job with this story. I love how perfectly he's captured all the princes and their significant others. Very recommendable!

It was alright
I didn’t love the book, but I did find a lot of things I enjoyed in it with the different characters. I’m not sure I felt the connection I normally live for in MM I definitely enjoyed the connection they had as friends.
The narrator is a new one to me, and he was alright. I did understand him I just wasn’t 100% sure I got the same life and passion I enjoy.

Such a fun royal espionage caper
This was so much fun!!!
Animosity between these men turns into sizzling foreplay.
The snarky wit and banter between them was absolutely hilarious.
Spies, weapons and danger abound.
The narrator did a great job bringing these characters to life and making them so realistic.

Spy Prince
Listening to Prince Benedict find love while trying to keep up the façade of being a top spy was enjoyable. The Prince has been keeping a tight lid on his emotions for years, due to nature of his occupations. Seeing Felix break through those walls was great. It was also great to see commoner Felix fall for the "playboy" prince.

Unexpected Adventure
I always enjoy a royal book and this one is no exception. I had heard of the Rosavia series and wound up popping into this book first – the fourth in the series. No worries at all, they do not need to be read in order as they all take place simultaneously.
So, with that out of the way, let me talk about the book. Prince Benedict is not the lazy prince everyone believes him to be. Early on he was chosen to be part of the elite spy unit for the little kingdom, reporting to his aunt, no less. Only one of his four brothers actually knows his whole truth (and we can talk about there being five gay princes at another time).
When Benedict becomes aware that the crown jewels are missing, he also meets his new team member. Felix is young and has spent his life being different. He’s got four degrees but has never been in the field. Heck, he’s never held a job. Benedict is leery of taking on someone so new and Felix is wary of the playboy prince who does nothing but lounge about. They are both in for a rude awakening. Or a pleasant one, depending on your opinion.
I have to say that despite the opening scene, I hadn’t predicted there would be so much tension and action in this book – it kept me on my toes and enthralled the entire book. And, of course, hoping the naïve virgin Felix nabs his more experienced prince. I enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read the others in the series.
As for the narrator, Kieran Flitton is perfect for this series. The royals have vaguely British accents and Flitton has the range to handle all the gay princes, all their lovers, all the courtiers, and the King and Queen as well. I was impressed by his narration and am glad several of the other books are out on audio. Am heading that way now. Oh, and I might want to try blueberry and bacon pizza. I mean, something new, right?

A favorite in this series
This one is tied with Barely Regal as my favorite in this series. It has the hot romance, but mixes that with crime and spies so I was right there from the start. Our main characters are super smart, super sexy, and take on dangerous assignments with aplomb, even if reluctantly in Felix's case. Buckle up your seat belts, this is the roller coaster, action/adventure entry in this series. Kieran Flitton's performance is perfect here. He ramps up the tension and excitement without ever going over the top. I loved this story when I read it and said it was tied for first place as my favorite. This audio might just move it into sole first place. Can't wait for all the others to come out in audio to test that theory, lol.

WOW!!
This Is one of the most interesting books about royals I've ever read! The plot caught me since the beginning to the very end, with an action-packed, page turner love story involving spies, secrets, and a mystery. This story answered many of the questions you probably have about what's happening in the palace. of course, I had to re-read it, so hearing it was just the perfect way to do it, specially with the amazing performance made by Mr Flitton. WOW!

Loved
This is the best one I really loved the verbal sparing between Benedict and Felix when they are forced into a mission together. Their chemistry soon get to them. This is action packed with intrigue.
The narrator really brought the story to life
