Summary

Rogue agent Zoey Blackwood is having the time of her life traveling the world and evading the CIA’s capture. Her wisecracking humor keeps things light, but her mission is no joke: save millions of innocent lives that the US considers expendable in the wake of a deadly virus. Giving away the vaccine’s top-secret formula when the government plans to sell it lands her squarely on the CIA’s most-wanted list.

CIA Agent Peyton North’s mission is simple: apprehend Zoey and return her to headquarters. Peyton gives chase, ready to do whatever it takes to catch her. But every time she thinks she has Zoey cornered, the smart-ass agent pulls off another clever escape.

Sparks ignite between them during their cat-and-mouse trek around the globe. A bond is forged and loyalties are tested as their sizzling attraction approaches a point of no return.

Wow! Another excellent book with fantastic narration. I have been waiting for the book since Gold And Sylver!!! I loved that book. And now I love this book too.

Exceptionally quirky and appealing main character

The strength of this book for me was in its humor and very witty dialogue. To me this outshone the importance of the serious story line. I laughed out loud several times and if there ever were a sequel with these same characters I would buy the next book in a heartbeat.

Enjoyed it

Just the right amount of cat and mouse. The storyline was interesting and the banter between characters was funny.

Not one to give praise lightly. Got it all. Humor, action, love, heart warming moments. Definitely one for the library. First time with this author. Not disappointed

Started Decent; Went Downhill

At first I thought I had gotten a gem in the genre. Then I listened as it went from good to decent. Then the last 90 minutes became a chore to grind through to get to the end. Best part was the back and forth between Peyton and Zoey in the beginning and middle. However, by the end I wanted them both gone. Worse part was the entire last 3 hours. Took an interesting plot concept and left me disappointed. Kiera Grace's narration was the only thing that got me to the end.

Not What I Expected

From the blurb I was expecting something like Mrs. and Mrs. Smith with two equal parties warring it out, not knowing they ultimately had the same goals, but what it turned out to be was more like The Borin' Identity with one character basically taking the other along for the ride and that didn't really work well.

Really enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed the book. It was funny, which I wasn't expecting and the characters were well developed. The narrator isn't good, but she sounded better when I increased the speed. Don't let that stop you from enjoying a great book.

CIA

Fun book. I loved the characters, and the development of said characters. A little action, a lot of humor and toss in some romance = a great read.

Good book with excellent story, too bad the narrator is awful !

Love the story but the audio sounds like a clipped robot voice. Too bad ruined the experience, read the book!
