Summary
Don't bring a sword to a gunfight...unless it has +5 radiant damage.
Henry’s life as a valiant defender of the realm is over—stolen away when he is transported to a strange new world. Instead of horses and swords, it has cars, rent, hamburgers, and a gun-toting part-time waitress named Shana. There isn't much use for a white knight atop a fiery steed...or is there?
Thankfully, Henry’s ability to level up and unlock powerful new skills hasn’t abandoned him. In fact, Shana is starting to level up, too. But there's a catch. Turns out, they’ve caught the attention of a secret society that's devoted to the very system of power that Henry was raised on. Led by the enigmatic Demon King, they aren’t happy about newcomers getting involved in their affairs. Magic, power, experience—the Society wants it all for themselves, and they'll happily kill whoever it takes to keep it that way.

Had to return after an hour.
A lot of subtle/not subtle nods to the Right way mixed into the first hour.
I'm sure some people will be into it, I'm just not one of them.
I did enjoy the narrator.

this was a really good at entertaining story quite a few twists and I like the narrative the majority of our main characters are very entertaining and likable I don't want to spoil too much but I would definitely suggest try I'd give the story like an 85 and the narrator was amazing

I don't usually enjoy LitRPG but this was good
Starts strong and doesn't waste time getting you up to speed with the world. Some familiar elements, like the "man out of time/out of place" trope, when Sir Henry has to get used to Our World, but a simple concept done well is enjoyable. I do think the back half of the story slowed down a little and wasn't as tight as the first half, but overall a fun read and I'd listen to a sequel.

Not so good
The idea is taken from a Hugh Jackman movie and then poorly built upon. The narrator didn’t add anything to the mix so all around dud for me.
