outstanding series start
scathing review incoming (as ordered)
a fantastic start to a new series , well paced and well written.
narration is top notch and very well done too (apparently the narrator "wikes wed wibbons")
thoroughly enjoyed and looking forward to book 2 !!

Brilliant Story
Brilliant start to a new series. Really enjoying this book. Was keen to get into this book after being lucky enough to listen to a preview of the first couple chapters! Can’t wait for book 2!

Another gem
What can I say, another cracking book and this time narrated by the author himself. Very nicely done, great voices and easy to follow. Ditto the actual story itself. Not my first type of genre to read/listen to but still I brought the book based on the other work from the author and I was not disappointed. Can't wait for number 2 in the series.

Space Opera at its best!
Christopher Hopper has done a fantastic job of creating a diverse, and vibrant universe with powerful riveting scenes in this truly engaging Space opera of heroes and villains, honour and betrayal. Hopper's intimate knowledge of the characters bolsters an excellent performance reading the book and breaths life with every word from the epic hero Pelegrin Hale and regal Princess Orelia to the wonderfully impish Gobmince twins..
You wont be disappointed with this wildly entertaining romp!

simply brilliant on all fronts
Christopher Hopper did an amazing job at narration. Great range and total suited the book.
The book 😁
Brilliance.... most books I listen to take me nearly a full book to get into when they are part of a series, but this got me Straight away from chapter 1. I have listened an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening on my commute and I have not looked forward to getting up and going to work like this since Ruins G book 5. (for anyone reading this who hasn't listened to The Ruins series by this Author, stop reading and download them now).
I can't wait for book 2 of Imperium Decent. The ending left it open to so many opportunities both good and bad for the characters that I keep going over in my head all weekend 🤯.
Keep them coming please christopher and we'll done on what will be another hit series 👏 👏 👏

Great start to new space opera series
Great world building I did feel like I was on adventure with characters.
Story is told from few pov but I was never lost because every character has his own distinctive voice.
Christopher did very good job performing it and if he ever get bored with writing he got another career opportunities.
