About this listen
Nanette Johnston Packard, a sexy divorcee, liked to meet men at the gym and through personal ads. Soon after she began dating millionaire Bill McLaughlin, he moved her and her kids into his bayfront home in Newport Beach. But one man was never enough for Nanette....
Eric Naposki, her NFL linebacker lover, fulfilled Nanette's wilder cravings. Together they schemed to make her fiance's fortune their own. When McLaughlin was gunned down, authorities had suspicions - but no proof. Pulitzer-nominated writer Caitlin Rother explores this chilling story of a woman who seemed to have it all - until justice finally had its day.

Funny when a women murders she's made out to be the most evil thing that's ever lived.
Oh gosh. Sexism still prevails
The amount of slut shaming !
Nannette wasn't a nice person if you in a relationship with her.
Don't think it would have even made the news if a man had done it.
Women are more than capable of being heinously.

Lots of detail
It was good that this book contained a lot more detail than the TV documentary that I recently watched about the crime. However, it was not presented chronologically, flitting about and making the events difficult to follow. It was the narrator, however, who spoilt it for me. Her incorrect intonation made following the story difficult and very annoying.
