Summary

From the international best-selling author of Sometimes I Lie, Alice Feeney’s most twisted and nerve-wracking thriller yet.

Aimee Sinclair: the actress everyone thinks they know but can’t remember where from.

But I know exactly who you are. I know what you’ve done. And I am watching you.

When Aimee comes home and discovers her husband is missing, she doesn’t seem to know what to do or how to act. The police think she’s hiding something and they’re right, she is – but perhaps not what they thought. Aimee has a secret she’s never shared, and yet, she suspects that someone knows. As she struggles to keep her career and sanity intact, her past comes back to haunt her in ways more dangerous than she could have ever imagined. I Know Who You Are will leave your heart pounding and your pulse racing.

Real page Turner...

If it had been a book, I would have done nothing all day but read it! Luckily it was on audio so I could listen to it as I sewed. I couldn't switch it off! I was hooked and needed to know who it was! The sign for me of a good book. A real thriller. Full of possibilities of who did it and how? Kept me guessing.

I'm mad I wasted a credit to pre-order this...

I'm not sure what happened with this book but Alice Feeney did not deliver. The big twist was so ridiculous I could not stop rolling my eyes. None of the characters were interesting or likeable enough to care about. Overall, it was just very disappointing. I'm still a huge fan of her first book so I'd definitely give her next book a chance. But this was just awful.

Loved Stephanie Racine's performance. Unfortunately, she didn't really have much to work with.

In off the post

A mixed bag here.
On one hand the mystery and tension created as the story develops is fantastic ...
But then, unfortunately the final big reveal is a massive disappointment on several levels..

Also, the author likes to end her books with a sudden “mic drop” twist that I’m sure is supposed to leave you wondering if everything you just read was some sort of hoax, but honestly, it just leaves me aggravated.

I really like most of what The author does and there’s no doubt she’s a real talent..

But..... there’s always a but🤷🏻‍♂️

Still good though

Disappointing and offensive

Usually a Feeney fan and definitely not squeamish but no. Just no. Twist so overused it's not even a homage to overused twists. It doesn't add to the story, you can see it a mile away and it hurts real life people because these are the kind of stories they get in the mainstream. The caveat "it was only to f* with ye" doesn't help. This was bad. Not schlocky so-bad-it's-good bad but bad-bad. Also gets quite boring for long stretches.

Cliched, implausible, forgettable

Terrific reader, but the writing is dreadful - the plotting is elaborate nonsense full of implausible contradictions. The writing style is hurried, breathless, relying on a succession of reveals to keep the reader "hooked". It is replete with hackneyed phrases and improbable dialogue. She is totally predictable in her adherence to cliches. It beats me how people gave this a positive review - I guess the racy story, but you might as well watch a sci fi movie if that's what you want.

Twists and turns until the end

An enthralling listen that was well narrated. I just wanted to keep on listening to find out what happened. The story was cleverly told from different characters and times which added to the mystery.

Really enjoyed this. Great character development and original story line along with a great narrator. Highly recommended.
