About this listen
Part autobiography, part self-help, part confession, part celebration of being a common-or-garden woman, part collection of synonyms for nunny, Sarah Millican's debut audiobook delves into her super normal life with daft stories, funny tales and proper advice on how to get past life's blips - like being good at school but not good at friends, the excitement of IBS and how to blossom postdivorce.
If you've ever worn glasses at the age of six, worn an off-the-shoulder gown with no confidence, been contacted by an old school bully, lived in your childhood bedroom in your 30s, been gloriously dumped in a Frankie and Benny's, cried so much you felt great, been for a romantic walk with a dog or worn leggings two days in a row even though they smelt of wee from a distance, then this is your audiobook. If you haven't done those things but wish you had, this is your audiobook. If you just want to laugh on a train/sofa/toilet or under your desk at work, this is your audiobook.
PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying reference material will be available in your Library section along with the audio.

Made my stressful commute a joy!
I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to this time to show my love for this gem of a book. I usually hate my journeys to work (made easier by audible) and found myself even enjoying hitting the usual traffic jams. Maybe it’s because I’m a similar age and have had some of the same life experiences but I was laughing hysterically one minute, crying a bit the next and wanting to give Sarah a big hug and thank her for being so honest and sharing her story. Well done Sarah, you are a lovely human being and please write another book I will definitely buy it and promise to only ever wave at you if I see you in public :)

Fantastic & Inspirational
A fantastic read (or listen). Sarah is honest, genuine and very open about her life and experiences that got her to where she is today. It was heartwarming, insightful and extremely funny. Would thoroughly recommend!

Loved it. I never wanted it to end
I laughed, I may have cried a bit and there were several bits where I just wanted to find Sarah and give her a big hug, only to be reminded that might be just creepy.
Just when you think the book can’t give you anything more (a podcast and a new hashtag to look out for over Christmas) I’m left holding a Banana Cake.
I can’t recommend this enough. Off to Google Sarah Millican tour dates...

Light hearted, easy listening
My first audio book - wanted something light hearted to listen to in the car on a long journey. This was perfect. Sarah narrated herself, which was entertaining and funny.
Most enjoyable.
