Summary

In his first novel, Look Who It Is!, Alan told his story ('oh and what a life') with his unique twist of natural, observational and tongue-in-cheek humour that made him famous.

Alan Carr described his life story in his own words, from growing up in a football-mad family in Northampton to his rise as one of Britain's best-loved comedians. And now he is ready to divulge the next chapter in bursts of hilarious Technicolor.

Brilliant second book, full of the stuff we want to hear about.

His 1st book was good, but this covers all the stuff for the period we really want to hear about.
Honest, revealing and all read by Alan in his own unique way. Perfect.

This book has got me through a difficult time, made me laugh when I needed one, distracted me from my worries & left me feeling better by the end.

One of the most enjoyable books this year.

Thank you Alan!

Cute, Funny and Truthful

Having always loved Alan Carr, both from his live shows, his previous book and his TV shows, I was looking forward to reading this book.
The book is read really well, Alan tells funny and sad stories well, and you can feel such a connection with him.
I would definitely recommend this book to all who need a good laugh, and of course any fans of Alan!

Thoroughly entertaining

I had listened to Alan's first book and found it to be one of the funniest autobiographies I had read/listened to. I guess I didn't dare hope that this would be as good but it absolutely is. The narration is funny and engaging - it really sounds like Alan is enjoying himself. I found myself laughing out loud in public on several occasions.
There are some wonderfully touching moments too. Alan is not afraid to be vulnerable and self deprecating. This is a joyfully unpretentious book about the world of celebrity and this man navigating his way through it, often with hilarious results.

Great listen

I haven't seen much of Alan Carr on the television so didn't realise how smart and funny he is. I bought the book because it was cheap on deal of the day, (I think he would find that amusing). Well worth full price though.
