Fantastic!

I enjoyed this audible, I thought it was well written and narrated. The writer speaks human to human and makes the listener feel that they do matter. I felt sad when it finished. The book has taught valuable life skills which can be part of our daily routine. Life is not a rehearsal and we must take time to understand ourselves. Thank you kindly for all the work you’ve put into this book.

Owen's book is such a special read/listen. Wonderfully and skillfully put together and I am so glad Fern Cotton mentioned it on her instagram as I would have hated to have missed out on this wisdom.

A beautiful book which is exceptionally well narrated by the Author

Feeling compelled to write a review upon finishing this book. I absolutely loved it and it’s given me so much I’d like to work on and then take to my own therapist. Owen is kind, compassionate and so relatable. He doesn’t hold anything back and it really feels like he is giving you some treasure in the tools he recommends. The only problem is that I now feel like I want to buy a physical copy in which I can make notes. Highly recommend

Very useful tips and insights

Simple techniques to stop negative thought patterns. I will definitely use the 10 minute therapy daily to take back control of my thinking.

I decided to listen to this to help me get over a break up.

you'll get what you didn't think you ever needed

I really enjoyed listening to Owen O'kane. we listened to it in the car most of the time. everyone goes through problems and endures stress but it's how you handle or treat your stress. Owen O'kane talks about how to deal with it in the best way. Describes other cases he's had and how they got through their issues, privacy and confidentiality are always observed to protect the identity of his patients. sometimes I appreciate if a therapist goes into their own experiences which makes you feel better as it makes you think it's not just you and your only human. As Dr Okane said himself "Welcome to the human race" He doesn't sugar coat anything and leaves the reader or listener under no misconceptions that therapy is hard and ik order for things to get better the patient has to put the work in. it takes time, patience and practice for therapy to be effective. At the moment we're listening to Ten to Zen which is proving just as beneficial. However you get out what you put in.
