Summary

Originally appeared in the print anthology The Bite Before Christmas.

'Tis the season to join Cat and Bones for some holiday cheer in this Night Huntress novella by USA Today and New York Times best-selling author Jeaniene Frost.

They were looking forward to a normal holiday - at least as "normal" as it gets for vampires Cat and Bones and their otherworldly friends and family. But their yuletide plans are shattered when a mysterious stranger shows up and reveals long-buried secrets that threaten to take a bite out of their holiday cheer - and lives.

Brilliant as Always

Jeaniene frost is always a great listen, this story fits in between one of the night huntress novellas so only listen if you already know the previous ones otherwise you are going to be totally confused and it explains some of the stuff mentioned in the next book.
As always the narrator is brilliant and captures all the characters perfectly especially bones, and the story has a lovely flow to it.

The story is of cat & bones celebrating a Xmas with friends (those of the main group of bones's line) and "family". A mysterious guest comes to the Xmas celebrations with troublesome consequences following, causing at several emotion scenes especially when bones nearly kills cat!! So moving!!! Despite I am aware there was another book after this I still questioned whether the whole gang is able to survive it? So I am not going to give anymore away ..... Hurry up and find somewhere quiet so that you can listen to this relatively short story (compared with others in series) and go on an emotional roller coaster of tear, laughter and held breath in dubious expectation!

Always enjoyable read

Ever since I heard Janine Frost's books and the narrator tavia Gilbert I have been hooked, tavia Gilbert is an amazing narrator and as long as she continues to read Janine Frost books I will enjoy them but I do enjoy the storylines and the plots as well, it feels like bones and cat Are very good friends and I love reading about their adventures. Thank you Janine Frost keep up the good work.
