About this listen
A second chance to make up for the mistakes of the past. A second chance at love.
Troy
I’ve settled in at Fort Dale with a great job at the clinic on base, and I’ve even made a few friends. The nearby city offers all I need to enjoy myself on a night off, if you know what I mean.
I was just starting to relax and think everything would work out, when he walked into the clinic. Oscar Reyes, the man I fell in love with six years ago and who walked out on me because he couldn’t handle the thought of being out.
I never thought I’d see him again, and now, he’s here, tossing everything I thought I knew on its head.
Oscar
There aren’t many things in life that throw me off. Despite a bit of a temper, I deal with things quite well. The IED that took my arm and left me with a permanent limp was hard, but after six months, I’m managing.
Well, I was. Until I ran into Troy again. Just seeing him was enough to realize six years wasn’t long enough to kill my feelings.
When I walked away, it seemed right at the time, and my reasons haven’t changed. This time, I’m determined to stand by that decision. Until I went and kissed him.
Oscar and Troy would have sworn six years was enough to make them forget. It wasn’t. When both men find themselves stationed at Fort Dale, staying away from each other suddenly seems impossible.
Nothing has changed, including their feelings, it seems. But is it enough?

as great as the ebook
The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Ferraiuolo is one of the top 5 narrators for me, I can listen without break and have no problems to follow.
I'm just not yet finish with the book, just over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

I love a good second chance story.
I’ve been binge listening to this series and I continue to be smitten with Michael Ferraiuolo’s performance of the books.
Troy and Oscar had a thing six years ago but Oscar broke it off because he wasn’t ready to come out – to his family or anyone else. Troy was left heartbroken and determined to just have a good time with guys after that; no more relationships for him. When Oscar comes back into Troy’s life it really shakes things up and soon, they are back at it again – but still in secret.
This story has a few tense moments when Oscar’s temper gets the better of him (not with Troy) but I can’t say more without spoilers. Second chance stories are a favorite trope for me and I really loved that these two guys finally were able to sort out their problems and be together.
I’ve really liked how the books in this series are connected but can be read as standalone stories. I actually didn’t realize at first that some of the stories take place at least a bit concurrently with each other. I’ll be moving on to the next book now.

Awesome!
This book was an excellent addition to the series! The characters are always fun, interesting and spicy, the plot captivating and the connection between the characters addicting. Michael Ferraiuolo is an amazing narrator, and he excelled at this one as well. He brings something special, uniquely Michael to every piece he does. Every time I listen I feel as if I am listening to a completely different voice. Amazing at capturing a moment, and putting passion into his voice, Michael puts so much emotion into his work!

A very nice and well balanced story with excellent narration.
This was the first book I have read or listened to by either of these two authors, but not my first by the supremely talented Michael Ferraiuolo who I’ve yet to be disappointed by.
Here We Go Again is a charming story of a closeted, gorgeously grumpy soldier who had lost his love six years earlier through his own fear of admitting his sexuality.
In the interim, Oscar, very badly maimed, but physically recovering, has returned from active service to drive a desk. One of the first people he sees on his return is his lost love - out and proud, army medic, Troy, and still as fabulous as Oscar remembers him.
Neither of the men has got over the way Oscar walked away from their relationship, but the spark quickly re-ignites as soon as they meet again.
Nothing has changed, however, and although Oscar is more than happy to be with Troy he must still come to terms with his sexuality publicly if the two men are to have a long term chance together.
One of the aspects I particularly liked about this story was the camaraderie between the cast of male characters. The joking and leg pulling between the soldiers is funny, witty and realistic and all the more enjoyable to me as I am from an armed forces background.
If I have a criticism it is that there were no female characters. But that’s a small complaint given how much I enjoyed the story and superb interaction between the MC’s and secondary characters.
Very worth listening to, and as it’s the third in a series I shall certainly now listen to the first two.
The narration of the various male characters was professional and enjoyable. Each one clearly defined and the humour and leg pulling made all the more enjoyable by Michael Ferraiuolo’s excellent performance. Recommended.

Fantastic addition
Romeo Alexander and John Harris created another great story for this series. Troy and Oscar had a great story, like that all the stories in the series is unique. Michael Ferraiuolo did an amazing job with the narration. Can wait for the next book in the series.
