Summary
Heir of Novron contains Wintertide and Percepliquis, books 5 and 6 of Riyria Revelations.
The New Empire intends to celebrate its victory over the Nationalists with a day that will never be forgotten. On the high holiday of Wintertide, the empress will be married. Degan Gaunt and the Witch of Melengar will be publicly executed. Then the empress will suffer a fatal accident leaving the empire in the hands of the new emperor. It will be a perfect day. There is only one problem - Royce and Hadrian have finally found the lost heir.
It all comes down to this.... The elves have crossed the nidwalden. Two thieves will decide the future.
"I saw a great journey. Ten upon the road, she who wears the light will lead the way. The road goes deep into the earth, and into despair. The voices of the dead guide your steps. You walk back in time. The three-thousand-year battle begins again. Cold grips the world, death comes to all, and a choice is before you." (Fan Irlanu, Tenkin Seerer of Oudorro Village)
Percepliquis is the final installment of the epic fantasy, The Riyria Revelations. In this saga that began with The Crown Conspiracy, two thieves caught in the wrong place at the right time were launched on a series of ever escalating adventures that have all led to this moment. Three thousand years have passed and the time for Novron's heir to act has arrived.
Performed by Bradley Foster Smith, Laura C. Harris, Chris Genebach, Carolyn Kashner, Henry Kramer, Nick DePinto, Danny Gavigan, Andy Clemence, Martin Dickinson, Chris Stinson, Richard Rohan, Matthew Bassett, Michael Glenn, Triya Leong, Amanda Forstrom, Terence Aselford, Dylan Lynch, Kimberly Gilbert, Jeff Baker, Matthew Aldwin McGee, Hannah Curtis, Andy Brownstein, Holly Adams, Christopher Williams, Jefferson A. Please, change the sample
After having listened to the dramatized adaption of legends of the first empire, which was completely wonderful, I'm returning here to change my rating from a 1 to 3 (I haven't listened to more than the first 5 minutes, I returned it and went with Tim Gerard Reynolds the first time).
The sample is very captivating and gives a good first impression. But a few hours into listening it becomes apparent that sample spoils book 5 enough to sap the tension that would've otherwise been masterful.

Don’t buy the dramatized version
The narration on this version is awful and distracting. The main narrator sounds like a robot and the voice actors are overdoing it. It’s a really good series don’t ruin it with this version of the story

The most fulfilling ending I’ve ever read
In all honesty I should wait before writing this review because I literally just finished the series and I’m still shaken by how incredible it all was, start to finish. I wish I could elaborate better, but I lived more through this story than I ever have before. This is already one of the books I would wish to be able to unread simply to experience it all fresh again. Please read this story, you won’t regret it.

One of the Best Epic Fabtasy Series of All Time
I already own the non-graphic audio versions of all of Michael J. Sullivans’ books in the world of Elan, but the Graphic Audio versions are awesome and I had to re-listen to all of the books again, played out as a movie in my mind.
