Summary

The world teeters on the brink of destruction.

The people who should be saving the Earth ignore Jason Asano's warnings and choose to loot the house as it burns down around them. He lacks the strength to save the world himself, but resolves to do it anyway, impossible be damned.

The impossible, in this case, means seizing a power that no mortal should touch. It's a choice from which there is no turning back, and marks Jason's first step into a wider cosmos that he is not yet ready to face.

Holding the fate of two worlds in his hands, Jason must decide for himself what home truly means.

this book is kind of my thing

shirtaloon please never stop. I love these worlds. Jason continues to forge his own path forward navigating the perils of literally saving the world. more importantly though, will he look good while doing it?

Absolutely fantastic

I wish this series never ends. This book was shorter than the others, but still fantastic to listen to.

Much Jason. Some Dawn.

A good deal of personal growth for Jason in this installment, but not much else. We get more insight in the dealings of higher powers and get finish off this arc. Despite this I unfortunately struggled to finish. I hope that the next installment will be more enjoyable.

Happy the earth section is ending

I’m really enjoying this serious but I feel the earth part was not as good as palamustus, I am also loving the end of the book and cannot wait for the next book.

Narration again was spot on

Just bloody read it

i would right out q big ass review, but i only have 1 major complaint and that is that it isnt longer. I am pretty biasef at this point so are you properpy if you have already read the previous books. I loved it it was great. Had a bit less humor, made me laugh a bit less then the previous books, but i definetely dont mind. Do i do feel like they cut most of the detail out of the action foccusing more about the stuff that surrounds the action. Which is not how its always been. I still loved it how can i not at this point

Wonderful

Great book, it is slowl but that is what makes it great, you get so much detail about other characters that you wouldn't other wise.

End of the earth trilogy

I read someone else's review before listening to this book and I must say that I'm also glad Jason had left earth. whilst it was interesting getting his family introduced into magic it got boring with everyone always trying to kill him. I also felt the characters on earth didn't have as much depth about them as those on pallimustas.
Im going to start with the massive cliff hanger of an ending with Dawn starting coming back from the dead is kind of Jason's thing. I'm so excited for book 7 now and then book 8 when it comes out next month.
I'm glad Jack Girling finally got what was coming to him and the fact that Jason had stopped his emotional rollercoaster which whilst added a dynamic was getting annoying.
I really enjoyed the last part of this book and was mostly excited when I knew that Jason and Farah were getting ready to go back to pallimustas. Jason's ability to create spirit domain was also great. Clive is going to be on Jason like a rash when he sees him.
this book really bright up some new dynamics which I didn't think we're coming with Jason's abilities evolving and the whole spirit domain thing. that was great.
Lastly I really did miss the characters form pallimustas and am glad the next book will involve them again. I'm really excited to hear Jason and Dawn explain the monster surge. The one character I will miss though is Taika and I'm really disappointed he didn't really play much of a role in books 5 and 6. his character was one of the major high points of the earth trilogy.
As usual the epilogues after each trilogy were great adding dynamic and additional information to fill in gaps about the wider picture.
