Loved it!
It had it all... romance, passion, some humorous parts ... all in all, an enjoyable listen! I enjoyed the narrators too.

Broken people finding each other
This is a lovely story of two broken people finding someone to heal them unexpectedly.
Not MS’s best book. There were many plot arcs which felt forced, or not fleshed out enough. I think Grayson potentially would be more damaged by his time in prison… 5 years is a long time but it barely comes up.
Liked the narration, however, the British accents were dreadful!!! 😅🤦🏻♀️

Not my Favourite
I love Mia's writing but this one didn't do it for me, unfortunately.
I loved the premise of the #arrangedmarriage between Grayson, the Dragon and his witch, Kira as well as all the side characters.
I also loved how Kira managed to melt Grayson's heart and make all the pain filled holes be replaced with love.
What I didn't like was how mean so many characters were and that they didn't get their due comeuppance.
I wanted to see more of the drama unfold regarding Cooper rather than it being off page and also the visit that Kira made to his stepmother. The important bits were glossed over and the horridness rubbed in our face.
This won't however stop me reading her books but this one was not my fave.
The #dualnarration was superb by #joearden and #maxinemitchell
