Summary

Serena Van Buren, the privileged daughter of a wealthy businessman, can't wait to begin her three-month tour of Europe with her college mates. Little does she know that fate has other plans in store!

Instead of dancing with handsome Italians and dining with charming Frenchmen Serena finds herself trapped in a six-month internship with overbearing business tycoon, Roman Steele - an arrangement orchestrated by her own father.

Serena is determined to show Roman that she won't yield to the demands of any man, boss or no boss. She's a Van Buren, after all, known to wither a man with one look. But Roman Steele is like no man she's ever met before. Suave, sexy and stunningly handsome, there's something about him that she can't resist. It looks like Serena Van Buren has finally met her match.

A sweet and saucy romance that will have you smiling....

As Expected

I love these types of books, but I have been unable to even get through the first half so far, the narrator is terrible! And the audio quality of the recording is very poor as well. Not worth paying, maybe if you wanted to use a credit, or wait for a sale. Story line is what you would expect from this genre, could be seen as either a pro if that's what you're into or a con if you prefer more originality.

Nice story - bad narration

A wonderful narrator can make or break a book. The story was nice nut the narrator's voice didn't use emphasis well, was gravely at times and really did nothing to enhance the enjoyment of this book. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Story brought to life

Would you listen to Tamed by the Billionaire again? Why?

I read the book back in 2012 and was recently gifted the audio version. Hearing your own voice while reading and hearing it narrated by Janine Santana is so different yet very enjoyable. Never thought I would enjoy listening to a book instead of reading it. I most likely will listen to it again probably on a long drive.

What did you like best about this story?

The story was sweet. It shows determination and strength, and the ability and the willingness to change.

What about Janine Santana’s performance did you like?

I have heard from some people that narrators can be one tone. Janine Santana was full of lively changes from one character to another. No one tone here.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Like I mentioned the story was sweet. It made me laughed and smiled a lot.

Any additional comments?

If you like light-hearted and sweet with a bit of self-determination this is a good story to enjoy. Some may not agree with my opinion, but that's okay. I will continue to enjoy the story anyway and I hope some of you find it enjoyable as I have.
