Leda is supremely happy. She's married to Arch Angel General Nero Windstriker, the love of her life and her soulmate.💘 She's thwarted her Parent's plans to use their future Daughter. She's happy with her assignment as the Angel of the Plains. So, her biggest issue right now is keeping Faris, the King of the Gods & her Father, out of her dreams!😳😕
Faris wants her to go to the Demon Council & broker a peace deal so they can be allies against the Guardian's. She's happy to try but she knows 'Daddy Dearest' won't like her tactics & neither will the Demons. But if anyone stands a chance it would be her. Her Mother, Grace, is on the Demon Council afterall!🙈 Her Father In Law, Damiel, offers to train her in mental shielding to try and keep her Father out of her dreams, she eventually has to agree when he becomes really invasive!😡
Across the world, but starting across the frontier towns bordering the Plains, magic is attacking it's wielders & killing them!😱 Leda & her teams start trying to track it's origin, eventually they even put out a million dollar Bounty as Leda is short staffed!🙈👍 Outside the box thinking is how she's always achieved her goals, so it's no surprise her close friends and colleagues have started to take a leaf from her book.😉 A new friend, her Foster Mum & a kid that is so reminiscent of Leda before she lost her brother and joined the Legion, all join her, and a few others, to track witnesses across the globe.🙏
I really loved this book. We don't ever really see Leda vulnerable, in this she's heart sick and much more!💔😢💥 Nero was an absolute rock, even if she didn't realise it.🙏💘 I saw the big reveal by Grace coming throughout the entire book, it was still slick, twisted & exciting though!😍💖 This entire series is completely unmissable.🌟

I didnt enjoy this book as much on this read and listen. I've no idea why, unless it's reading all the books back-to-back?🤔
I'd give the book and audiobook 4 stars overall this time. Where as I gave it 5 stars before!
