The importance of communication in marriage
I enjoyed this story because the couple overcame such emotionally charged problems. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing the characters and story to life.

Meh
Overall I thought the book started well although the constant time jumps got confusing and annoying.
TBH by the second transgression by the H (he lied) I was pretty much done and couldn’t bring myself to care much

Memorable
TW: Cheating.
After being disappointed by the last amnesia book I read, I needed something packed with hijinks, drama and angst.
This was perfect. Whats worse than being cheated on? Being married and being cheated on. Whats worse than trying to get over your cheating ex who broke you heart? Trying to get over him while hes got amnesia and doesnt remember being the unfaithful douche. Olivia didn't have many allies for team Dont Forgive the Douche, and soon shes playing hostess to her ex and they are falling in love again.
(Personally I felt there was WAAAY too much affair approval by the characters in this book. Cheating is my Hard Limit for no forgiveness in a partner, no worse betrayal than disloyalty in my credo but hey-the world takes all sorts and everyone in this title just darn right blames the heroine)
Bennett getting his memory back and their argument REALLY grated on me. Dude cheated, she blamed herself. Dude put his *pecker* in another woman, and she apologised???
Solid effort. I enjoyed it.

Wow!!!
Oh yes, love this book!!! Steamy-sexy-scenes from the get-go! Not sure if your ready? 😉
The story captivated the impact a traumatic personal loss can have on a couple and how each person navigates loss, infidelty, love and trust.
Most memorable part of the book besides the hot sensual-sex scenes?............ (someone get me a fan) 😆 is the sensitive-heated conversation the couple have in their appartement once its revealed Bennett's memory has returned! So touching ! Jeremy and Elizabeth's brillant performance communicates, the level of vulnerablty and pain the couple needed to go through before regaining a deeper love and trust in each other. They conveyed the complexity of how do you navigate loss infidelty and regain trust.
Will I read again? What do you think,of course !😉🍷

Not a favorite.
This book started out good but it went downhill from there. About midway through I realized I was starting to dislike Olivia & that Bennet, even though he was a cheater, had my sympathy. Olivia was a wishy washy doormat ,first she wants him then she don't want him. Either forgive or let it go. The girlfriends antics would have resulted in a beatdown by the time she showed out at the club if Olivia had been modelled after a real black woman & the mother in law , don't get me started. While most of us were taught to respect our elders, respect is a two way street. The mother-in- law had an attitude & said some things that at the very least would have made me request that she stay away for fear that I'd lose it and say or do something to her that my husband wouldn't appreciate.

Unique Second Chance Romance!
“I might have given you up once but I’m not doing it again.”
What an absolutely wonderful surprise this book was, I was expecting an emotional angst filled book but I got so much more than that! QB Tyler is a new to me author and I am so happy to have discovered her work! A unique second chance romance with a couple going through a divorce until an accident steals the hero’s recent memory. Definitely not a storyline I come across often but an absolutely refreshing second chance at love. Bennett and Olivia’s love was once all consuming but with a mountain of pain between them it was definitely a journey to get back to happier times.
“No. Nothing can change the past. But you can change the present. You can do better for the future. There’s no room for pride in love, Olivia. Marrying someone is the most humble act. You’re promising to put another person first. Sometimes even before yourself.”
Mixed with memories of the past and their happier times, and definitely naughtier times, this story engrossed me, I needed to know what caused the unraveling their marriage and if it could be repaired. Bennett is a dirty talker and enjoys pleasuring Olivia anywhere he wants, a deliciously sexual man that has no qualms about making sure his woman is always satisfied first.
With the story mostly told from Olivia’s point of view, I really enjoyed Elizabeth Hart’s narration, her portrayal of the hurt and anguish that turned to healing and pleasure, her range of emotions was perfect for the story. If you are looking for something angsty with a generous helping of sex on the side, definitely pick this book up!

Olivia and Bennett just gave me chills and hope!
This book made me emotional because I felt this story to my core. There were so many nuggets of wisdom subtly dropped in this book that I am just letting them marinate in head. I have loved Elizabeth Hart’s voice from various books. She just knows how to convey a myriad of emotion. Jeremy York is one that I’m not as familiar with but he also did a great job.
I love Olivia and I understand her pain and anger. I also understand Bennett’s pain. Love was never the issue here, it was the communication and growing/moving in the same direction that wrecked havoc on these two. Pain has a way of fogging up the window in your relationship until you lose sight of each other. That’s when Olivia and Bennett lost sight for a second until the slate was kind of wiped clean.
I was just holding my breath for them to work their way back and the author did it in such an exquisite way. It was emotional without being overly dramatic. It was sexy without being overdone. There was pain but there was also hope. At the end, I was just so happy for them. I still am.

So in love!
This audio is PERFECTION!
I live for books that take you through the crunchy and awkward moments, the ones that make you feel so deeply for the characters that you want to defend them or admonish them. Forget Me Not did that and more.
The writing was so clear and vivid that every scene was painted into my mind. Every character was represented by the image Q.B. described. Every situation tugged on my heart before filling it back up, leaving me feeling giddy and emotionally spent. Exactly what I love most about reading.
The narration was, of course, amazing. The narrator choice was perfect and they brought a book I’ve read to an even better level through audio.
5 stars all around!!

WTF
Is this?!! I read all 3 Fifty Shades but this is unforgivable!!! I stopped at chapter 11… if you can call them chapters. This has the plot of a 90’s porno. “I’m a neurologist and this patient’s my best friend. Let me swear at him and his soon to be ex-wife as he is awakening from a coma…”🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️

HEAVY on the erotica
For a story about a couple opening lines of communication to repair a broken marriage, this story crammed in as much sex as it could possibly fit in, which made it an awkward book for me to go through. I actually fast forwarded some spots. Even when Ben and Olivia are talking to their friends, they couldn't help but to talk about what they do with their significant others. I don't believe that the book presented any other ways that this couple is compatible with each other.
That scene where Ben left Oliva to handle the other woman was weird. What lead to Ben cheating on Olivia in the first place, and keeping the other woman as a lover wasn't really explained in the book. Finally, I got whiplash at how the mother-in-law was rooting for the other woman, but then suddenly warmed up to Olivia. For me, this was a 2.5 star book.

Forget Me Not
While I don't like cheaters, but my heart really went out to Bennett, because he did tried his best to be there for her when THEY was going through the miscarriages. What made me not really care for Ovlia is that she really didn't take accountability for her actions that lead him to cheat...even though he STILL SHOULDN'T HAVE and when he told her what he felt all she did was just throw in his face, his f**** up... I get women experience pain emotionally and mentally and physically when having to deal with miscarriages, men can too deal with it as well except the physically part. She was was fault too because she pushed him away...but overall good story.
