Summary
I've wanted Andrea since the moment I saw her.
But she's human. I'm drakoni. The only way I'll stay sane and not lose myself to the madness that's swept over my people is if I keep my mental walls strong. I have to give up everything that makes me a dragon. That means no telepathy, no fire breathing, and no battle form.
I certainly can't take a mate. Andrea can't be mine.
When her brother escapes the fort, though, she needs help tracking him down. That means I'll be alone with her, breathing in her sweet scent, and it may be too much for my control.
What happens if I give in to my dragon? Will I take her as my mate...or tear her throat out?
Contains mature themes.

Awesome steam
Good story. Awesome, amazing mature steam. While the age of the fmc Andrea is known to be 22, there is something (in my opinion) incongruous about her mature sexuality and her inane speech. I found it hard to decide whether this was a story about teenagers or adults. Maybe it was the chatty superficial sounding American narration or the actual text. Liam, the dragon, was voiced by a mature grumbly voiced narrator who was a bit “me, Tarzan, you, Jane” but still sexy in all the right ways. Excellent mate material! The horrid post apocalyptic setting was offset by the twee banter. The sadness at death was offset by the sugary expressions of love. Despite it all being a bit simplistic and at points curiously incongruous, I think that for the right audience, this would be an excellent read. I’m only partially the right audience.

Passionate and perfect.
Loving this series. Characters come to life. Dreamy dragons, believable heroines. Great narrators, Jeremy's voice is like honey. Able to fully loose myself in hhe story, great panacea for my daily pain.

Redemption for the series with this story
I was anxious for LIam's story as soon as his character was introduced. After the last book I wasn't sure I wanted to continue with this series but this book was awesome. The whole scenario of trying to find Andrea's brother was a great way to freshen up things - get out of the forts and the lone couple scenarios. The last half of this book was so emotional, I was captivated and couldn't stop listening. Again the narrators were so good they were more like actors giving life to the characters rather than just reading the book. I've returned other books due to bad narrators but never one with Noelle and Jeremy narrating.

Loved it!
Absolutely loved this installment. It could be my favorite in the series. It was different and having the drakoni male be someone who has been passing as human and therefore is able to talk was really cool. It added the fresh flair that the series needed. Liam is also probably my favorite of the dudes. Andrea is really great too. I’d love to hear more of their story at some point.

Dragon Love
Good reading with enough excitement to hold your interest. And lots of sex, but I liked it because it didn't bore me. Primarily the anxiety that overwhelmed Andrea. I got hung up on that energy.

I love this author and the spicy stories.......
But I wish it was all bit more sureal when it comes to the female body's, I know I know, we don't want to talk about other body hair..... and it's probably a given that they have more hair than just private hair, but it would be nice and more realistic if leg and under arm hair were mentioned as well, cuz whether your on another planet with aliens or an apocalyptic USA I don't see girls shaving everywhere but their privates. maybe that makes it alil unsexy but when it comes to mates for life I'm sure their are plenty unsexiness that would happen other than body hair, but I feel like if you mention the soft curls of a sex and not other body hair, I wanna know how they are shaving it lol, cuz we might need to know for future reference incase sexy dragons come through our skys!

another great one in the series!
I was looking forward to Liam since he first showed up. it was a switch to have him in his two legged form and able to communicate effectively from the start. Andi in the previous book seemed more enthusiastic to get a dragon then she did this time which I was a little disappointed about. she was all freaked out about a reputation. considering the reason everyone in that fort is there in the first place and that it's a freaking dragon apocalypse that seemed kinda silly. him on the other hand was reluctant to lose his mind, memories and his entire personality to the madness which further went to minimize her issues. it got interesting once Gabe showed up and the mystery of the abandoned fort and everything that followed. she redeemed herself at the end in her second attempt to catch a dragon.
