Good LitRPG collection
So having listened to the first book in the Feyland series I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to listening to the other books. The audiobook starts with what I think is the longest prologue I ha e heard however it sets the mood and rhythm for the rest of the book and allows readers/listeners to be brought into the mix of fantasy/fairytale and tech world whilst building one of the central characters backstory. Overall the book is enjoyable although there were a couple of parts that seemed to repeat an earlier premise that didn’t spoil to entire storyline, and I look forward to continuing my journey through this combination of fairytale/tech mashup.

Just Brilliant!
It's 50+ hours of pure gold. The books all have endings - no cliff hangers here - but come together to make a satisfying story. I couldn't put it down

Great value and great storys
54 hours 22min of story's for 1 credit, it's a bargain and they are all excellent story's. All of the story's intertwine well and the narrator does a amazing job (if your no good with names like me it's not a problem telling the character's apart). I would highly recommend.

It’s Not Ready Player with Faeries
Who ever said it was can’t have read Ready Player One or any other LitRPG.
Anyway, I suppose it’s a bit YA because of the age of the protagonists but that really only comes into play in the interactions outside of Feyland.
The conceit of Feyland works well and is enjoyable and even though the books are somewhat episodic, building on each one, the adventures don’t get stale and I enjoyed them all and how it finished even though the author is a bit inconsistent in applying the rules she creates between our world and Feyland.
It’s also a bit off putting how gaming is sometimes described in here, as there were times when I was embarrassed for the author, who reminded me very much of a clueless reporter trying to ‘get down with the kids’ in order to write a fluff piece and that’s me showing my age right there lol.

job loss for quotation marks
As per usual we find that authors have made the use of quotation marks redundant. In other words, when it comes to the delivery of dialogue they state the obvious i.e. dad said and Thomas said etc. We know this from the fact that there are quotation marks thus indicating that these are words and therefore said. What’s not so obvious is how those words were said. To the book. Well, it’s not bad but then it’s not too great either. It’s vivid enough and contains the usual good guy bad guy and the right amount of prejudice that comes back to haunt our character in the end. It’s not great though, too much of life involved between the gaming experience which, frankly I find boring and distracting. The accents employed by the narrator are sometimes suspect as well. It’s all right as a reading experience but I’m glad this was given to me in exchange for an honest review so I didn’t have to pay for it.

ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE
THIS IS NOTHING LIKE READY PLAYER ONE! I can't even get through the first hour of this dribble. What a total waste of money.
