Penguin presents the audiobook edition of Father Unknown by Lesley Pearse, read by Lucinda Dryzek.

Orphaned, lost. Who is she really? One young woman's search across the globe for a past - and a future...

Losing her adopted mother threatens all she's ever had....

Daisy was adopted. But when her mother dies, she finds her secure existence thrown into turmoil by the discovery of a scrapbook. Inside it is information about her real mother.

However, when Daisy drops everything to go in search of her roots, she uncovers a harrowing story of greed, misery and corruption. She also risks hurting her adored dad, the only true family she has left.

Can she cope with the truth about her real parents? And, more importantly, who is the real Daisy?

Soothing voiceover

Lovely narration. I’ve listened to all of Lesley Pearce’s books on audible - this one had an interesting story that was at points rather gripping, but the ending became obvious too soon so the last 5 chapters were less captivating. Honestly not my favourite but still good!

Good story

I’d have edited out a few lines as without these the ending wouldn’t have been so obvious so early on, but another enjoyable story from Lesley Pearse very well read by Lucinda Dryzek!
