About this listen
I have to trap the most evil, worst bad dude in existence without actually turning him to ash. So, what's a Vampyre to do?
For starters, enter an undead beauty pageant - in Oklahoma, where the hair is jacked and the contestants are busty and brainless.
My name is Venus. I'm a 200-year-old killing machine, and I'm trading in my daggers and sword for a sparkly dress and an obscene swimsuit. Tiny strips of Lycra are not my typical battle wear, but when in Oklahoma...
Armed with a fairly decent attitude, two debatably heterosexual insane old ladies, a woman I'd wanted to kill less than eight hours ago, and the possible love of my undead life, I'm in over my head with this. Of course I have no clue what this is going to entail, but that's never stopped me before.
I'm learning quickly nothing is as it seems - not my past and least of all my future. With the not-so-angelic Angels watching our every move and more butt glue, lipstick, and hairspray than I knew existed, I'm gonna take my fate by the balls and twist. Hard.
In a race with death for the cursed life of the man I'm falling in love with, there's no room for error. Especially when I can't decide if I'd rather head butt him or jump his sexy bones.
Mixed up in a tangled trap of spotlights, sequins, and seduction, I'm gunning for a crown and my happily ever after with the arrogant alpha-hole who makes me feel alive.
And the winner is...
Hopefully me.

another great book
glass to see the womanizer finally meet his match.
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end.
It is overly immature in a lot of parts but the way the author writes it makes me laugh out loud.

Couldn't listen long enough to finish book. Voice just not suited to character and very annoying!

Such a let down
would have loved to listen to this book but i only managed 1 chapter. Narrator very disappointing. The voice did not seem right for the character and the tones of the voice i could not tolerate.
such shame because i have loved the series so far.

Horrible narration
I love these books and have listened to all of the previous books but the narration of this one was awful. I struggled to listen as the narration was forced and the voice just grated my nerves. I finished the book by reading it.
I don't normally like to give such poor feedback but it was that bad.

Nausea inducing narration
I have read pretty much most of the books from Robyn Peterman (excluding the mermaid series - couldn’t get into book 1) and I enjoy them. So much so I’ve read them more than once - although the characters can ramble on to much, turning it from funny to just plain annoying - Robyn, know when to stop. The narration of this was awful, totally ruining the entire story for me. I’d read the book some time ago and the beauty of the imagination was annihilated by this persons voice. For the love of all that is holy, please fix this. I will be avoiding all books narrated by Audrey Lusk.
I really enjoyed the narration of Gareth’s accent in book 6. It would be really good to have a male voice for the male parts.
