Summary
Working at Bliss, Sarah Harrison deals with all sorts of...interesting clientele. Yet no one sparks her interest more than Jared Gaines, the ultra-rich, ultra-sexy businessman who frequents her shop, buying delicate little “gifts” for the women in his life.
But one day, Jared sends Sarah a gift from Bliss. Then another - and another. So when Sarah walks into his office demanding to know why, he makes her an offer she somehow can’t refuse: be his fake girlfriend for the weekend while attending his brother’s engagement party.
The next thing Sarah knows, she’s in San Francisco pretending to be in love with Jared. Not that it’s a hardship. Once you get the man away from the office, he’s much more relaxed. Sweet. Funny. Even...thoughtful? Oh, and sexier than ever, of course.

This story pulled me in...
Jared exhibits some lowkey stalker-ish behaviour (in my opinion) and I'm still not fully understanding why Sarah agreed to go anywhere with him... BUT! Its a lightweight romance 🤷♀️ what more did I expect? 🤣

Good but no surprises
Good characters portrayed well. Sarah was incredibly patient with Jared. It all worked out in the end but an enjoyable journey

Enjoyable listening
Savannah and James did a great job bringing Jared and Sarah's story to life.
While I didn't particularly like Jared for a lot of the book, I really enjoyed Sarah as a character.
After the loss she has suffered, she has worked hard to provide for her family, so to see her taking something for herself was rewarding.
While Jared was generous, he was such a grump. I could understand why he went about things the way he did, after learning about his past, but still... such a grump!
You can't help but be drawn in by Candice, she is a gem.
Much like Sarah, she is almost the opposite of her brother and wears her heart on her sleeve.
Again, props to the group of friends for providing some much-needed perspective and all the drinks.
I can't wait to listen to Candice's story!

Loved it. Good book to escape into
A lovely romance with a bit of erotica. liked that it had a male and female narrator, made it more interesting

This is Vol2 but Vol1 was better. Just purchased No.3 I love a series where each book focuses on a group of characters.
