About this listen

Sharon Osbourne has lived in her own words "fifty lives in fifty years". As the daughter of notorious rock manager Don Arden, Sharon's childhood was a chaotic mix of glamour and violence, villains and diamonds. In rock star Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon found her soul mate, yet Ozzy's drug- and alcohol-fuelled excesses which culminated in his attempt to strangle her made their marriage a white-knuckle ride from the start; only her devotion to their three children gave her the will to survive.

From the highs of The Osbournes and The X Factor to the lows of Ozzy's near-fatal quad-bike accident and her own colon cancer, Sharon's tenacity, honesty, and humour have triumphed again and again. In her long-awaited autobiography, Sharon Osbourne reveals the truth behind the headlines in her characteristically frank, intimate and articulate way. Inspiring, heart-rending and full of love, Extreme is the astonishing story of a truly remarkable woman.

Brought on a whim! I've always found Sharon to be quite brash but thought I'd give it a go. I'm so pleased I did! A very honest & open account. Extremely strong & clever lady!
Her love for Ozzy is utterly profound!! Most women would have left him long ago especially if they had the means to do so!!
Sharon reading it made it very personal & I found it very emotional in places making me cry at the end (& I don't do crying!)
It's a shame that she doesn't read the follow up otherwise I'd have listened to that too.

WOW what a woman!

After reading this book, I am astounded at Sharon's tenacity for life, also of her love for the men who treated her so badly. I don't think I could forgive so easily, but then it is obviously why she is now successfully getting on with her life and enjoying her current status.

Very together lady

Really enjoyed this. Perfectly pitched and kept me interested throughout
Sharon is a tough cookie who certainly stood by her man. Not something I’d have done but I’m certainly inspired by her balls!!

The fact she's still alive is down to this woman's incredible strength and tenacity. What a roller coaster of a life. Excellent read.

Sharon Obourne has always made me laugh and hearing her read this herself I am pleased to say this continued within her own way of explaining things lol. A true insight into her and ozzy's childhoods, how they met, turbulent marriage and how life has its ups and downs. Thoroughly recommend!!!! Have since also listened to her latest autobiography which goes on to tell about jacks ms diagnosis, x factor , t h e Osbournes and again many ups n down. Although a shame it's not read by Sharon I definitely would recommend it as a follow on from this one.

Interesting read
